the car was silent the whole drive back, everyone in their own minds. as they arrived at the apartment, lucian slid out of the car, following everyone to the door, but taking a seat outside rather than going in. korra sighed as she entered the familiar apartment, heading to her and nyx's room and just collapsing onto the bed with a groan.

Laura watched as korra entered and made a bee line for her room. Laura sighed and noticed lucian hadn't come in. She watched as nyx wandered to the bathroom and she took a deep breath. She stepped outside into the chill of the night and noticed that lucian was just sitting outside. " I'm sorry" she apologized as she sat down next to him. " You should have just left me there" tears threatened to spill but she held them back. " Then you wouldn't have lost your memory"

lucian turned his head as he heard the door open, watching as laura came out before sitting down. he quirked a brow at her apology, sighing when she explained it. he had the urge to reach out and hug her, but he kept to himself. he didn't know her. or, he did, but he didn't remember it. "i wouldn't have done it if i didn't care for you." he spoke carefully. he knew himself, he wouldn't just throw two weeks away if it wasn't worth it.

korra laid on the bed for a while, before forcing herself up. grabbing a towel, she knocked on the bathroom door, leaning against the wall. after being in that grimy place and having her blood spill all over her, she had the urge to get clean. even if all of the blood was off of her.

Laura closed her eyes tightly before opening them and looking at the sky. " Exactly if you didn't care about me none of this would have happened" she sucked in a deep breath. Turning she looked at lucian, " We share a room upstairs to the right" she informed before standing up, she walked back inside.

Nyx, turned off the shower as he heard a knock. Tying a towel around his waist he opened the door to see korra. " Excuse me" he pushed past her and walked into the bedroom quickly changing into some casual clothes.

lucian listened to laura, sighing at her words. "it's not your fault, laura." he murmured. he wasn't sure if that's what she was thinking, but he wanted her to know that. as she told him where their room was, he slowly nodded, watching her go back inside.

korra froze as she saw nyx, huffing when he retreated quickly. she clenched her fists, but just shook her head and walked into the bathroom, slamming the door behind her. stepping into the shower, korra sighed angrily, letting the water wash away all of the grime. washing her hair, she took her time, not wanting to go out there and deal with nyx who continued to avoid her. not like she cared, or anything. turning off the stream of water, korra wrapped the towel tightly around her body, moving into the room to get clean clothes.

Laura, walked upstairs and slipped into the shower, quickly washing off she wrapped a towel around herself before standing and examining the scar on her arm. Then her head started to hurt and she quickly took a deep breath, she wouldn't let him in. Closing her eyes tightly the pain faded. Soon she wouldn't be able to push him away.

Nyx looked away as korra changed, taking a deep breath he sighed " I will sleep on the couch" he stated before grabbing a pillow and exiting the room.

lucian eventually headed inside, locking the door behind him. he paused as he saw nyx headed towards the couch with a pillow, raising a brow. "i can't even remember being with laura yet i'm still sharing a room with her. you actually like that girl, i think, and you're sleeping out here. man, still as wimpy as always." he taunted with a slight smirk, heading up to the room and carefully entering. seeing as laura was in the bathroom, lucian just moved to the bed. "i can sleep on the floor, if you'd like." he called out to laura, not wanting to make her uncomfortable.

korra huffed in annoyance at his words. once he left, she turned and threw the towel at the door. "good, go, you idiot." she muttered to herself, not caring how childish it was. changing into a large t-shirt, korra lifted the towel from the floor and tossed it into the basket before climbing into the bed and faceplanting into the pillow.

Laura jumped as she heard lucian. " No its fine if you sleep on the bed" she took a deep breath and held the towel close to herself as she exited the bathroom. She quickly grabbed some clothes and walked in the bathroom and changed before coming back out. She laid on the bed and stared at the ceiling.

" I'm not being wimpy" he sighed before laying down and soon falling asleep.

lucian nodded, even though laura couldn't see him. climbing into the bed, he sighed softly as his head rested on the pillow. when laura joined him, his head turned to watch her, opening his mouth to say something before just closing it and huffing.

korra snuggled up to a pillow, though she was unable to get to sleep. even though the witch had healed her bite, she still got random thoughts in her head. luckily, they were starting to fade away, but it was quite annoying at times.

Laura turned to face lucian. " you said you loved me" She spoke blankly, her eyes watching him carefully. " I'm sorry thats a lot to spring on you" she sighed and turned so she was facing away from lucian a tear ran down her face.
