korra glanced to where lucian was,
sighing softly. "nyx told me what happened. im sorry, i know you guys loved eachother." she mumbled. "but, hey, now you can fall in love all over again. all of that fun stuff, right?" the hunter mused, leaning back against the tree with a soft sigh.

" I don't know if that will happen? he will be so confused and trust me we didn't like each other the first few days of us meeting each other" she ran a hand through her hair. " I don't think i can do this, love thing again it just gets people hurt...so maybe its best if i take a break from it" she said watching as Nyx nervously paced back and forth waiting for his brother to wake up.

korra sighed at her words, leaning back. "indeed it does." she muttered, moving a good few feet away from laura as she saw lucian beginning to stir.

lucian opened his eyes, a soft pain in his head. his brows furrowed as he realized he was in a car. did they crash? glancing to where laura would normally sit, he froze as he realized she wasn't there. climbing out of the car, he relaxed when she entered his sights, narrowing his eyes at a girl sitting near her. however, as his eyes landed on nyx, he scowled. "what the hell is going on? why am i here? what did you do?" he hissed angrily to nyx.

Laura quickly stood up but nyx had beaten her to it. She watched as he approached lucian with his hands raised.
Nyx kept a solemn expression glancing at laura before looking back at lucian. " Its a long story so you may want to sit down...everyones safe we're at a witch settlement, which i'll explain why later"

lucian glared darkly at his brother, watching him look at laura, who didn't seem threatened by him? he narrowed his eyes, hesitantly looking away from nyx and scanning the area. "why is it a long story?" lucian hissed out, but slowly lowered himself into a seat on the hood of the car.

Nyx ran a hand through his hair and took a deep breath. He started from the night of the club then quickly explained everything else, leading up to now. He finished the story with a huff and looked over just as laura joined them.

Laura, sighed but nonetheless moved over to the brothers. Keeping her gaze mostly on Nyx due to not being able to look at lucian without tears forming.

lucian scoffed at nyx's story, but as he glanced down at his palm, he noticed the little cut that the witch had made. glancing to laura, he looked back to nyx. "baron's back?" he questioned calmly, glancing at his arms to see the dried blood on them. "if you're screwing with me, nyx, i will put you six feet under."

Nyx scoffed and pointed to laura " Go ahead laura tell him....maybe he'll believe you? i mean you two are in lov-" he quickly cut himself off and just glanced at laura. " Yeah he is telling the truth baron is back and as you know he has a lot of my blood which means he is much more powerful" she stated crossing her arms.

lucian eyed laura, glancing to nyx and huffing. "why did you give her over in the first place?" he asked with annoyance, arms crossed over his chest. "you realize you've made things way worse, now, don't you?"

Nyx huffed " I was trying to keep korra safe" he mumbled before turning to laura " I can't do this, you talk to him" he growled before walking away. Laura took a deep breath, " His judgement was clouded, but that doesn't really matter right now because baron is probably on his way and i would prefer to not be hooked up to a needle again" she quickly looked away remembering how he told her he loved her and now she wouldn't hear those words. They were right back to where we started.
