korra nodded eagerly, waiting for laura to be ready before heading downstairs to the lobby. she inhaled all of the smells, patting her stomach and immediately setting out to get some food. grabbing a few pancakes, as well as some fruit, korra moved around the little area to see what else they had.

lucian raised a brow as nyx glanced to the hunter's neck. somehow, his attention had shifted to her. and lucian was definitely not complaining. he contemplated going to breakfast with the girls just to make sure laura would be safe, but he forced himself to go feed, knowing that she was with the hunter, who could probably protect her enough until he got there. shaking his head, lucian exited the room and set off to find a source. normally, the bags would do, but if he wanted to keep himself controlled around laura's blood, drinking from another source would help.

Laura, strode after the hunter not in as big of a rush as she was. Grabbing a plate she plated a generous amount of hashbrowns and an equal amount of fruit.

Nyx, casually walked through the woods. Sniffing the air until he caught a scent, darting through the trees he tilted his head at the sight of a small smear of blood on the tree. Before he had time to react something slithered along his foot and lifted him off the ground letting him hang helplessly upside down. " Hunters trap great" he muttered trying to reach his feet untie the rope before they came to collect.

once she had gathered all that she wanted, korra took a seat with her food, making sure laura stayed in her eyesight. beginning to eat, she sighed in contentment as her stomach stopped growling. hotel food was never great, but korra had grown used to it.

lucian was searching around for a scent, hearing something in the trees from a distance away. making his way towards the sound, a smirk formed on his lips, leaning against the tree as he looked at his brother. "looks cozy up there." lucian mused calmly, though he knew he didn't have much time before the hunters came to collect. they didn't need anymore trouble, so he quickly scaled the tree, pulling out a knife and slicing through the rope that dangled nyx.

Laura silently sat down next to korra. " So i saw you and Nyx slept comfortably" Laura stated before shoveling a small forkful of hashbrowns in her mouth.

Nyx, huffed closing his eyes as his brother came. Soon landing on the ground with a hard thud. Standing up he rubbed his already aching head. " Thanks a lot" he muttered before hearing rustling in the distance. " We've got to go" He growled before racing out of the woods not even waiting for his brother.

korra raised a brow at laura's words. "yeah, the stupid ass wouldn't get off." she muttered in annoyance, finishing up one of her pancakes before nodding to laura. "i see you and..lucian? made up."

lucian smirked, dropping down from the tree. his head turned as he heard the rustling, racing out after his brother and pausing once they were a good distance away. his stomach grumbled slightly, making him huff in annoyance. "we need to find sources." he muttered to his brother, inhaling the air.

Laura narrowed her eyes, not totally believing that she didn't enjoy nyx being there. Laura blushd slightly as she brought up lucian. " Oh yeah...it was probably nothing" she lied before shrugging and continuing to eat.

Nyx Looked off into the distance, rubbing the back of his neck. " The hunters are on high alert....Also fang collectors probably due to the word of baron being back. Its probably not safe to just go out and feed. I know you don't want to hear that but we have two perfect sources.."

korra began eating some of the fruit, raising a brow at laura's words. "it didn't seem like nothing. it may be his job to protect you, or whatever, but if he didn't care, he wouldn't have minded nyx taking some of your blood. or the fact that you were gonna get a cold from going outside." she spoke with slight amusement.

lucian listened to his brother, sighing and nodding his head, actually agreeing for once. he eyed nyx, narrowing his eyes a bit. "you're not getting laura." he warned, before grunting. "and how do we convince those two perfect sources?" lucian asked his brother, running his fingers through his hair.

Laura took a sip of her water as she listened to the girl, gently placing the cup down she pursed her lips before speaking." I guess" she shrugged suddenly wondering about lucian.

Nyx, grinned before hearing he couldn't have laura " Really? you get to have her" he winked " And i get to have her blood" he explained. " We don't need to convince them just simply explain how we're stuck between a rock and a hard place"

korra nodded, finishing up her meal and leaning back into the chair, licking her lips. she observed everyone in the lobby, all seemingly tired and just quietly getting their food to eat.

lucian glared at nyx. "you don't get either. save it for baron, when we actually need it." he muttered in annoyance, before nodding his head. "fine. don't expect them to be thrilled." the vampire grumbled, heading back to the hotel and entering the lobby, walking over to the girls and tugging a chair over before casually taking a seat.

Laura was just about to start up another conversation but turned to see lucian. Smiling as he sat down, but then quickly furrowed her brow. " That was quick?"

Nyx, followed lucian but didn't sit at the table and instead chose to stand. " So basically, there are hunters and fang collectors swarming around this place. So we need your blood to feed" He stated looking from laura to the hunter.
