lexa turned onto her side to face away from her.

Aurelia couldn't help but feel hurt. She got off of the bed and sat down on a chair beside it. Feeling hurt or not, Aurelia wasn't planning on leaving Lexa alone.

lexa felt a huge lump in her throat. "why don't i remember what happened to me?" she said softly.

"Trauma, I guess. Does that to people sometimes. You might remember later," she replied.

lexa turned over and looked at her, a tear escaping the corner of her eye."i wasn't strong enough to stop them."

"I doubt anyone would've been able to stop them. You were outnumbered and overwhelmed, I'm sure. You're lucky to be alive," she added. "I don't think anyone would have been able to survive that like you did."

"is there a wound over my heart? when i do this.." she shivered at the thought. "i have to finish by driving my sword through their heart. if they even survive to that point."
