Aurelia shook her head again, starting to quiver. "Not my Finn. He wouldn't.."

"but he did." she said coldly, standing up.

Aurelia glared at Lexa. "There was a mistake. He would never do that."

"a mistake?" lexa raised an eyebrow. "i don't think going to an innocent village and killing innocent people is a mistake." this time lexa was glaring.

"Finn wouldn't do that! Murphy was with him! Murphy's the one who kills people!" She was raising her voice, but she didn't care. It wasn't like Finn to do that. He would never.

"murphy tried to stop him!" she spat, heading towards the door, done with this conversation. "go take a shower, i'm getting us breakfast." she said and left.

Aurelia

Aurelia glared at Lexa. She couldn't believe that. He wouldn't do something like that. Murphy would. How did Lexa know? She wasn't there! Neither was Aurelia, but she knew Finn and Murphy. Lexa didn't know them at all. She sat on the edge of the bed, glaring at the floor once Lexa had left. She didn't like to be ordered around, so she didn't take a shower. Lexa couldn't tell her what to do. She glared at the door. At the moment, she was done with her. She was considering leaving and going back to her people to defeat Mount Weather, but this time she wouldn't come back here. She'd make it there. She was sure of it. Even if she didn't know the way out. At least this time her eyesight was at its best. She got up and left the room, cautiously making her way out of the tower. She started to walk out of Polis, being careful to stay away from the guards.

lexa had managed to score them a nicely cooked piece of deer, and the best meat of it. satisfied with herself, she headed up to the tower, plates hand in hand. when she got to the room and noticed it was empty, she frowned. she had assumed aurelia would be done with her shower by now, but she could be wrong. she set the plates down on the table and barged into the bathroom, not even caring if aurelia would still be showering. "aurelia?" she called out. when she got no answer, lexa was pissed as well as terrified. she groaned to herself and stormed out of the room to the guards. "where is she?!" lexa demanded, but they claimed they hadn't seen her. lexa scowled and left the tower and looked ahead of her at the city. she was about to go to the stables to get hainofa but she stopped herself. this was the second time aurelia had tried this stunt. she was also willing to go defeat the mountain on her own. did she not want lexa's help? lexa didn't know what to do, but she didn't want to run after someone who didn't want to be saved.

Aurelia found herself getting distracted when a young girl said something to her and pulled her away into the crowds. Confused, she followed her, not wanting to hurt her if she pulled out of her grip. The girl took her to a stand, where a woman was cooking something odd. She assumed that the girl had brought her here, trying to get someone to buy the food. She watched as she woman cooked it, and then she offered a piece of Aurelia. Aurelia shook her head, since she didn't know what it was and didn't have something to trade for it anyways. She backed away, feeling lost since she didn't know her way out of the marketplace and couldn't ask for help since she didn't speak their language. She had only come here with Lexa.

after taking a couple minutes to think on it, lexa came to the conclusion to look for her. she has such an effect on me, such a weakness. she thought to herself. she then considered her options. it was possible aurelia had come looking for lexa and that she was still in polis. maybe she hadn't left quite yet. even though the chances of that were slim, lexa started frantically searching every merchant stand. unfortunately her popularity was wasting her time. lexa politely smiled at her people as they all greeted her and she had to take everything in her to not curse at them all for getting in her way.
