The doctor overheard their conversation and brought in a baby. The doctor let Autumn hold the baby and Autumn went quiet. She stayed quiet and played with the baby.
It's a fixer-upper of a planet but we could make it work.

'Thank you." Faith mouthed to the doctor as they left. Faith watched Autumn play with the baby, not saying a word.

Autumn stayed silent. She was good with children. She always wished she had a younger brother or sister.

"Ma'am." Faith repeated and giggled quietly. Faith soon fell asleep herself, quite uncomfortable in the chair.
