“It hurts! It hurts!” She cried and ran out of the house. She ran to the barn and climbed to the tiny room. She locked the door and cried.

Faith got up and locked herself in her room. She didn't know it would hurt that much. She had used the ointment plenty of times and it never hurt her so much she wanted to scream. She wasn't going after Autumn this time. She had tried to help her and she ran away. If Autumn wanted to see Faith she'd have to come to her.

Autumn fell asleep as the night got cold. It wasn’t getting very hot that summer. It was cold in the barn to keep the horses cool. It was too cold for Autumn though.

Faith was worried about Autumn, but decided to keep her distance as Autumn obviously didn't want her help. Faith eventually fell asleep, too tired to continue worrying about Autumn.

Autumn texted Faith. “I’m cold and going to the hospital.”

Faith wake up in a bit of panic when her phone went off. She sighed when she just saw it was Autumn. "Have fun with that. I could've helped you but you didn't want my help."

“I’m going for my hand. We can break up,” She replied “I mean I’m moving to the city. We’re breaking up.” She walked to the hospital and got medicine for her hand.

"You said you were going there for a few days, yesterday. But have fun. I hope you find someone else." Faith texted back, hiding her emotions from herself. She wanted to cry, but didn't.

“I can’t go to the city anymore. I have to get surgery.” She replied and sat in the hospital bed.

"You just said you were going to the city. And what do you need to get surgery on? Your ankle or hand?" Faith asked, Autumn was honestly confusing her.
