" the teacher explains. hiro gritted his teeth, nodding in compliance and leaving the teacher. expelled? they would kick him out of the school? a part of him thought that wouldn't be too bad, but he knew his mother wouldn't be happy. he looks up and sees the track field in the distance, along with sae. he decided to greet her, walking up to her with his hands gripping tightly to the straps of his backpack. " hey, sae. " hiro greets, sighing slightly.

ruri looked up from her journal. where was everybody? with a small grunt, she gets up from her seat, setting down her journal. she hops onto the tracks and walks along them slowly, her arms strecthed out so she could keep her balance while she walked. there were no trains in sight from her vantage point, so she continued to keep herself occupied by slowly walking on the tracks beams.

Sae was in her own head about ways she could help the track team better itself for first in the competitions this year. When she heard her friend's voice, she smiled and turned her head to look at him. "Hey Hiro.." She soon realized his face showed that he wasn't as cheery as usual. "What's got you down this time?" Asked Sae with a worried expression.

Hyun soon made it to the tracks, a bit out of breath. He was chased there by a squirrel who smelled his granola bar wrappers. He found safety on the tracks, due to the squirrel's fear of anything man made in the forest. "Ha! That's what you get, fool!" He exclaimed as if he was the hero who'd slain a giant beast. He then turned his head to realize that another one of the Beetles was there.He blushed in embarrassment and stood up. "Hey Ruri! How long have you been there?"

hiro shrugs, shoving his hands into his pockets and glaring at the ground. " I got in trouble... again. " he mutters out, lifting his head up to look at the sky. " I didn't even do anything. I just yelled at a guy. " hiro huffs. " anyways, how's your day? "

ruri stumbled in balance when she heard the faint but familiar yell from hyun. she noticed him running from a small rodent, biting her lip to surpress a small giggle as she watched him come close. she hopped off the tracks, tucking her hands behind her back and smiling gently. " a little while. did you... defeat the squirrel? " she questions with a grin, tilting her head.

“As per usual, eh?” Sai Sae with a bit of a smile. Then, when he asked about her day, she shrugged. “Usual two mile before school, complete with an ‘I lost my waterbottle so I had to run another mile back for one’ fiasco. That and I signed up for track team, and made captain again.” She said, happy to show off her accomplishments.

Hyun blushed as she said she knew about the squirrel and immediately felt flustered. “N-no it wasn’t that! Really! The squirrel smelled my granola bars and he wanted some! I ate them all, though, and I was scared he’d come for my flesh next!” Hyun has been watching one of those robot horror films last night and fell asleep to it. He needs a life.
