kat nodded in reply, chuckling softly. she got some of the food she had prepared for natalia and nora, bringing it over and just letting them eat it with their hands, shaking her head in amusement.

marcella smiled at kat. “i’ll watch the girls if you can grab your mom and dad for dinner.” she promosed as she placed it on the table, along with veggies and plates. she sighed happily.

kat nodded, quickly heading up the stairs to retrieve her parents. she returned shortly after, michelle and john following her. effie and laker had fallen asleep, so they didn't want to bother their children at the moment.

evangeline started crying again and marcella smiled. “you guys dig in.” she told them as she retrieved the baby and propped her on her thigh as she sat down to eat.

kat nodded, beginning to eat her meal. she kept her eyes on natalia and nora, making sure they were eating okay. as natalia reached towards a glass of water with a small whine, kat quickly got up and retrieved their sippy cups from the fridge, handing them to the girls with a smile.

eva began to cru again, and marcella sighed. “mama!” she wailed, marci calming her while eating. “i’ll pit her down for another nap.” she told everyone, the baby falling asleep as marci placed her in nora’s crib. as she came downstairs she smiled. “i’ll take her out later.”

kat nodded in understanding to marcella. she finished up her food, collecting the rest of the plates when they had finished eating as well. moving into the kitchen, she sighed softly. just hoping maddox and river would come home soon. the girls missed them, and she did, too.

marcella could tell kat was mossing maddox. “they’ll be back tomorrow.” she said with a smile, biting into a cookie. she scooped up nora and began to wipe her face.

kat sighed and nodded. "yeah, i hope so." she murmured, moving to natalia and beginning to wipe down her hands and face as well, chuckling when the girl lifted her arms with a pout, wanting to be held. kat scooped her out of the chair, placing multiple kisses on her face, earning happy little giggles.

marcella smiled at nora. “your girls have grown up so fast.” she murmured as she placed the girl on her shoulders, running around and earning squeals and laughs.
