kat listened to the question, pausing to think. "no, i don't think so." she finally murmured. she remembered maddox saying something about going out, but she was half asleep so she hadn't really been paying attention. "why? is everything okay?"

marcella opened the jar of baby food. “no, he left this morning on a motorcycle and didn’t say anything.” she answered. “can i come over to hang out?” she asked as she fed the baby.

kat pursed her lips at marcella's words. "that's weird. yeah, you can. i just have all four kids on the floor right now." she chuckled. "my siblings and my children. come add one more to the mix." she joked, eyes moving to the three girls and one boy on the floor. "poor laker is so outnumbered."

marcella laughed, scooping evangeline up and rushing down the sidewalk and into the house. she placed evangeline on the floor and picked up laker. “he’s seriously a baby river.” she remarked, pulling out picture of river as a baby.

kat smiled as marcella entered the house, chuckling at all of the babies on the floor. as she lifted laker, kat nodded eagerly. "oh, he's gonna look soo much like river when he's older." she mused with a grin. the only huge difference was that laker had blue eyes, like her, instead of brown eyes like river.

marcella grinned, squising hee cheek against laker’s. “if i have another kid, i want a boy so you won’t be so left alone.” she told laker, turning to kat with a laugh. “but still, i have no idea where he is.”

kat laughed as marcella spoke to laker. "i'm sure he'd love that. though i bet maddox and river will take him out sometimes. away from all of the girl chaos." she chuckled. when marcella spoke, kat smiled gently. "try not to worry too much. i think maddox may have mentioned it earlier, but i was still kind of asleep."

marcella nodded and turned to the tv. as laker started crying, she stood up and grabbed a teething ring. “four babies teething must suck.”

kat laughed a bit, nodding her head. "oh, yes. it does, sometimes." she mused, lifting nora onto her lap and placing a kiss on her little cheek. "but they're so worth it." kat mused happily.

marcella nodded as evangeline and effie both started to cry, and she scooped them both up. “wow.” she murmured as she hugged them all close. “where’s your mom to help us?”
