a dream // one x one

michelle nodded slowly, quietly taking a seat on the bed as kat jumped up and ran into the bathroom. she carefully lifted the test up, eyes widening at the results. "well, time to go see a doctor!"

marcella cursed, her eyes filling with tears as her body hit the bed and she curled into a ball. “river isn’t going to love me anymoree!” she wailed.

kat frowned, hugging marcella tightly. "river is always going to love you." she promised, rubbing marcella's back. "and the little baby inside of you." kat added with a nod. she knew river may be a bit shocked, but it was obvious how much he cared for marcella, and a baby wasn't going to make him love her any less.

[ptolemaea]

marcella sighed. “i’m going to go back to bed.” she said angrily, trudging to her room and laying in her bed with a sigh, rubbing her midsection. she felt a wave of nausea pass over her and she ran to the bathroom, tossing up last night’s dinner and burshing her teeth.

kat sighed softly at marcella's anger, michelle quietly exiting the room. kat winced as marcella ran back to the bathroom only to puke up her food. "are you okay?" she called out hesitantly.

“yes, i’m fine.” marcella said, going back to her room and calling the doctor. she then proceeded to cry herself to sleep, her sleep being restless, with her todsing and turning.

kat sighed softly as marcella went to sleep, quietly exiting the room to leave her to rest and think. heading downstairs, kat began making some brownies, wanting to busy her mind with something.

a few days later, marcella was dressed and ready for her appointment. “kat, are you ready?” she asked with a small sigh, as river wasn’t home again. he and maddox were hanging out almost nonstop since maddox came back. once, they pranked marcella, and since she’s pregnant, she started crying.

kat nodded to marcella, a small smile on her lips. "yeah, let's go." she spoke, moving towards the front door. exiting the house, the girl slid into the car and drove off once marcella was in and ready.

marcella, unlike in her dream, was extremely scared at the fact she was pregnant. the appointment, for the most part, went smoothly, until marcella’s phone rang as the doctor handed her some photos. she answered it, and went pale as a ghost.
