river nodded his head slowly, beginning to eat the mac and cheese. after he finished, he cleaned the dish and put it away, heading up to his room. pausing, he moved to marcella's knocking on the door before slowly opening it.

marcella looked up from her laptop. “hey.” she greeted, closing the lid of her laptop. she waited quietly for a minute. “how was it?”

river smirked and shrugged. "it was okay." he mused tauntingly. "no, it was really good. thank you." river murmured, glancing around before walking over and taking a seat on her bed. "wanna watch a movie?"

marcella grinned. “sure.” she said and she grabbed her remote. “unless you want to watch it in your room.” she smiled as she turned on the tv.

river kicked his shoes off when she agreed to a movie, moving to sit on the other side of the bed. at her suggestion, he shook his head. "in here's fine." river murmured, watching the tv as the screen turned on.

marcella turned on The Shining, and turned to river. “this okay?” she asked with a smile, leaning back on her pillow. she let a sigh escape her lips in contentment.

river nodded his head at marcella's question, leaning back into the pillows and settling in as the movie began. glancing to marcella once more before returning his attention to the tv.

marcella looked towards river, then back at the tv. after a few minutes, she looked at the celing. “hey river?” she asked quietly, fidgeting with her fingers.

river turned his head toward marcella as she spoke his name, tilting his head a bit at her seemingly nervous state. "yeah, what's up?" he questioned curiously, shifting his body a bit to face more towards the girl.

marcella looked over to face him, leaning in. she pressed her lips to his for a short moment before pulling away, a small smile on her face. “the sky.” she said quietly.
