”pizza sounds good. oh my god. you don’t know how hard it is to get pen off of skin.” he groaned and started driving home when everyone was all set. once they got home, cole got out of the car and got autumn and started walking inside. he was greeted by willow and he uncomfortably moved upstairs. he started the bath, focusing on autumn instead of himself. he undressed autumn and put her in the tub. he rinsed of her clothes and then put them down the laundry chute.

[Berenice.]

Saffron shook her head at Cole. “Go and sort yourself out. I will get the girls cleaned. You need to relax. You’ve worked hard today so you deserve a rest.” Saff told him. “And dont argue.”

”i- fine but i owe you.” he murmured and went to take a cold shower. he took a quick shower and than ordered the pizza. he went to the girls bathroom and smiled at how happy the little ones looked together. “hey.”

[Berenice.]

“No you don’t. Just go and sort yourself out.” She quickly said and scrubbed the pen and paint off of both of the girls faces. As soon as Cole walked in, Autumn squealed and splashed around. Ava thought it was funny and she copied. “What are we going to do with them?” She asked Cole and laughed.

cole laughed and got out towels. “me and autumn have to practice walking. she took her first steps but she’s quite clumsy on her feet and don’t you dare comment on that saff.” he laughed and dried autumn off and Carr her to her changing table. he put a new diaper on her and then put new clothes on her. he put her on the ground and held her hands as he led her down the hallway.

[Berenice.]

“She’s clumsy on her feet is she? She takes after he Dad then. I don’t think that’s a good thing.” Saffron said cheekily, drying Ava off and putting her pyjamas on. “Ava’s pretty good at walking. She goes a bit too fast though and then she falls over.”

cole rolled his eyes. “saff.” he groaned and let autumn walk on her own. she stopped at the stairs and sai, “dada!” and held out her arms. he laughed and picked her up and carried her down the stairs. he threw her up in the air and caught her. she squealed and he continued to do it until the pizza came.

[Berenice.]

“You know it’s true.” Saffron found it way funnier than it was. She took Ava downstairs and let her play with some toys. “You’re friends are quite nice. I had no idea what you were all talking about though, so sorry I didn’t talk very much.”

”saff. im serious. it’s getting super annoying.” he told her and sighed. he paid for the pizza and brought it inside. “i didn’t expect you to talk a lot so you’re fine.” he told her and let autumn stumble to her high chair. “saff, would you rather have a small wedding or just go to the courthouse?”

[Berenice.]

“Aw, is poor old Cole getting annoyed? What ever will we do?” Saffron giggled, patting his cheek. “Unless you don’t want an actual wedding, I wouldn’t mind a small one. Of course if you don’t want that then we don’t have to. But, I’ve always wanted to have a nice wedding so...”
