alex nodded in understanding, able to relate with the mountain of assignments that professors would assign. he had found it absolutely tiring-and also useless. he saw no need to write millions of essays. he knew well his kind of work wouldn't require such thing. "i got ya. i don't think i'd have to write so much essays if i became a photographer," he replied. "perhaps they're getting lazy and running out of ideas." he then let out a soft chuckle. "yeah, perhaps. if i were to propose to someone it'd probably short and to the point. i'm lazy like that."
he crossed his arms, and then gave him a serious nod. "yes, of course i would. that's how you get hired," he said in mock seriousness.
"i'm actually on page four of ten, so i'm nearly halfway," he said, almost seeming proud of himself. rarely would he be able to find the motivation to write that much in just a few hours, let alone writing two pages; so writing four pages was quite the accomplishment for him. he then laughed at his imitation.
he then raised a brow. "that's quite bold of you to assume that my organs can pass out," he countered. "i've taken two 5 hour energy drinks before in one setting, so i think i can handle two more." he wasn't lying after all; desperate times called for desperate measures. he had gone to the store and drank two 5 hour energy drinks as soon as he bought them to keep him awake for an assignment that was sure to cost him several hours of sleep.
he then took the time to consider it for a few moments. "perhaps it might mess me up, but i'm willing to take risks to finish this stupid assignment," he replied with a small shrug. he then sighed. "if only i had that orange."
