[miss kobayashi]

ren smiled when kyo admitted to not wanting to get up so soon. he hummed softly in agreement, a small smile still resting in his face.

" i don't think we'd have to go back yet. " ren hums, willing to do anything to stay for a little while longer. he bit down in his lower lip in thought.

" i think the train runs all night. " he murmurs softly. ren had no idea if the train actually did run all night, but he wasn't super afraid to miss it. all he thought about was kyo.

as ren spoke, kyo smiled to himself, slowly nodding. "good. because it would be really hard to let you go right now." he murmured softly. he lightly squeezed ren, relaxing his arms afterwards.

"i should really start looking for shooting stars more, now." kyo whispered gently, closing his eyes once more and sighing in contentment. there was absolutely nothing that could ruin his good mood right now.

kyo hummed quietly as he thought, pausing before speaking. "hey, what are you doing tomorrow?" he then questioned ren.

ren smiled at kyo as he spoke, nuzzling against him once more when kyo squeezed him. he hummed quietly at kyo, nodding his head slowly.

" I told you, sometimes wishes do come true. " he hummed, immediately chuckling at his own words. " that sounded really cheesy. but it's true. "

he goes quiet in thought. " nothing, really. why? " he questioned, feeling his cheeks tint pink when he wondered what kyo meant by that.

kyo hummed happily, loving the feeling of ren being so close and in his arms. he chuckled quietly, shrugging slightly. "cheesy but true." he repeated with a slight smile.

when ren answered, kyo slowly nodded, lightly drumming his fingers on ren's back. "maybe we can go and look at cats tomorrow?" he suggested hopefully.

kyo adored cats, he loved how cute and playful they could be, but also super independent. though, he felt bad monster didn't have anyone to play with during the daytime, so he thought a cat friend would be cool.

he shut his eyes, taking another moment of just resting in kyo's arms until he spoke. he shifted slightly, enough to be face to face with kyo.

ren looked up at kyo with sparkling eyes. " really? y-yeah I would love to! " ren squeaks, a bright grin washing over his face.

he had totally forgotten about the agreement that the two of them would look for cats, and the idea of it made him excited.

kyo lifted his head as ren shifted, smiling as their eyes met. when ren agreed, a grin spread over his face as well, nodding happily. "okay, cool."

humming slightly, kyo then chuckled. "if there's an orange tabby there it'll be awesome." he murmured quietly, snuggling his face into the crook of ren's neck.

"i'd name it honey. or tiger." he declared, his voice slightly muffled due to the position he had put himself in.

ren felt his lower lip being bitten down by his teeth, his cheeks growing hot as kyo snuggled closer. he leaned over and gently kissed the top of his head with a happy purr.

" that would be a crazy coincidence. " the male hums, resting his head on the top of kyo's and taking in the scent of the other. " but, I guess crazy things happen every day. " he adds with a hum.

after a moment of resting on kyo, he leans down and gives him another kiss. he wanted to kiss the other a thousand times, but also didn't want to push kyo too much in their relationship.

kyo hummed happily as he felt ren kiss his head, his arms shifting slightly around the male. as ren mentioned a coincidence, he nodded his head in agreement.

"yeah." kyo murmured quietly, gently returning the kiss once he felt ren's lips on his own. he moved his lips to kiss the corner of ren's mouth, before proceeding to place kisses all over the other's face.

chuckling softly, kyo moved his lips back to ren's, pressing a soft kiss against them. "i'm so glad you came into the parlor that day," he spoke warmly.

ren swallows the small lump in his throaty as kyo returns the kiss. a shaky smile falls on his face.

" i-i am too... " he murmurs, letting the other kiss him, feeling extremely flustered but trying not to let it worry him. it was still hard for him to understand that kyo returned his feelings. he felt an overwhelming burst of emotion.

the second kyo returns to kiss him on the lips, he pushes forward forcefully, a little too forcefully and smashing his nose against the other. ren murmurs and apology, continuing to kiss the other.

running his fingers up and down ren's back, his lips twitched upwards at ren's response. he couldn't believe that all of this was happening. that ren actually wanted to be here with him. that they went on a date. that they kissed. and were kissing.

all of it was so mind-blowing to kyo, that within a day, so much had happened. he hoped he wasn't overwhelming ren, so he tried to make sure he wasn't going too fast with anything.

as ren's nose knocked into his own, kyo chuckled quietly against the male's lips, not minding the little interaction one bit. he was glad they had the lake to themselves, it was peaceful and amazing.
