Bella stopped when she reached the park, and sat down on a bench. She noticed Mason and called over to him; "Mason! What're you doing here?" she stood up and walked over to him, not to close. She was planning just to spend the day at her house, but she'd be fine with hanging out with Mason a bit, just to get to know him.

Mason looked up as he heard his name being called. His face brightened as he saw Bella sitting on a bench; he smiled and came over to her. " Hey, Bella!" The dark-haired alpha said cheerily " It's great to see you here". Truthfully, the park was one of the last places he expected to fine Bella, but he was glad to see her just the same. " I was just here to shoot some hoops" He said, motioning to his gym bag. " Mason explained, giving her a friendly smile, " What about you?"

Bella gave him a warm smile. "I just went for a run." Bella explained. "I forgot you played basketball, I thought you'd be out with your pack if I'm being completely honest." Bella said, she hadn't expected to see him at the park either, but was happy to see him. "I was just having a break, and was about to go back to my house." Bella said and moved a strand of hair out of her face, meeting his gaze.

Mason chuckled warmly, his eyes lighting up with a familiar mischievous sparkle. " Really?" He teased playfully, " Or did you just some here to watch me practice?" He couldn't help but tease Bella good-naturedly. The alpha honestly didn't mean to offend her; his teasing was playful and light-hearted. Mason smiled at her as she met his gaze, " Well, if you really don't have anything to do, would you like to hang out with me today?" He asked, hoping that she would say yes. Bella was a sweet girl; he wanted to get to know her better. Maybe he'd even work up the courage to ask her out.

"Sure, I just came out of no where, to a park I didn't know you went too, to watch you practice? Sounds like a pretty me thing to do." Bella said, going along with his joke with a soft laugh. She didn't mind when he teased her, just as long as he didn't go to far. Bella smiled at him, "I'd love to hang out with you, maybe you could show me your wolf form while we're at it." Bella answered quietly, so no one else in the park heard. Bella wanted to get to know Mason, just a bit. She hoped he'd ask her out, or she could ask him out.

Mason gave a warm laugh, his eyes sparkling merrily. " I must admit, it is a little farfetched. " He chuckled warmly, " Maybe we were just meant to bump into each other, eh? Either way, I really am glad to see you here. And I'd love to hang out!" The alpha smiled at her, giving a nod, " Sure, I'd be glad to show you my wolf form. Just not here, ya know?" He said, lowering his voice in case other people were around.

Bella gave a soft laugh. "Nah. I'm just stalking you like every other boy crazy girl in the school. Or at least, that what I think they do. I've never had a crush on anyone before, until recently I guess." Bella said. "Crap. I have to go." Bella said and quickly ran off. She had just admitted she had a crush on him, unless he didn't think that. "Agh!" Bella said to herself as she ran off, into the woods behind the park.

Mason chuckled as Bella mentioned the girls who liked to stalk him as school. " I don't know if there's that many boy crazy girls that like to stalk me. And I certainly wouldn't take you for the stalkery type." He blushed as Bella admitted she had a crush on him, but before he could say anything she rushed off. " Bella! Wait!" He called, racing after her. The alpha was very fit and kept up with her as she ran into the woods, " Stop! Please, I want to talk to you!"

Bella sighed and turned around, facing Mason, leaning on a tree. "You don't need to say anything, Mason. I know you don't feel the same way." Bella said quietly, keeping her distance. She ran her finger along the tree she was leaning on, looking at Mason. She knew he probably didn't feel the same way, she doesn't even know why she admitted to him, but she did hope he felt the same way.

Mason gave Bella a small, fond smile as he came a bit closer to her. " If you just gimme a chance, I need to tell you something." The look in his hazel eyes were soft and honest. " Bella, you're one of the nicest girls I've ever met. You're very intelligent and witty and you've always been very sweet to me." Mason complimented honestly, a faint blush crossing his cheeks, " I really like you, Bella." He said quietly. Very gently, he took her hand in his and met her gaze," Would you... like to be my girlfriend?" He asked a hopeful tone in his voice.
