Lily looked at him and nodded. "I know. We will do something so you can have both. We will do something so we can have both. You need to be the king. You are not going to lose me. I am not leaving you." She said.

Callias held her close. A tear dripped down his cheek without him noticing. "I just want to be with you, more than anything," he whispered.

Lily looked up at him and gently wiped one of his tears away. "Maybe we can try talking to your father again... maybe he was just in shock... I am not allowed in the palace anymore though. The guards kicked me out." She said. She stayed close to him. "I am so afraid I will lose you." She said to him. She kept her arms around his neck.

Callias held her close, burying his face in her hair. "Me too," he murmured. "I love you so much."

Lily stayed close to him. "I love you too." She said staying as close as she could to him. She had no idea what to do. "They kept telling me I am a liar and that I should have never betrayed the crown like that but I never lied to you." She said wiping a tear off her cheek. "I would never lie to you." She said.

"I know," he whispered. He placed a hand on the side of her face and gently wiped her tears away with his thumb.

"I just want things to go back to how they were. Everything was so perfect. I am so sorry for ruining everything." Lily said looking at him. She felt like there was nothing that she could do to fix this and that scared her more than anything. She did not want to ruin his life because they fell in love.

Callias kissed her cheek. "You didn't ruin anything. My father did. I don't want to go back to living life without you," he whispered.

Lily looked at him. "I don't want to either so what are we going to do?" She asked him. "If we try to run away, they are sure to find us." She said to him. She had an idea but she was kind of afraid to bring it up worried he would not like it or it would make things worse. She kept thinking but she could not come up with another idea.
