Callias sighed, wanting to spend time with her. "Alright. Do what you need to do," he told her. He wrapped her in a hug, kissing the top of her head. "Will you come back tonight?" he asked her hopefully.

Lily
Lily sighed knowing they both wanted to spend time together but she still had to help her family. "Yes of course I will. Right after I go shopping." She said to him. She hugged him back. "I love you." She said. She looked as the king called for Callias to go to his office. "Looks like you have to work too." She said with a sigh. "I will see you later." She said.

"I love you," he told her softly. He gave her a kiss before going into his dad's office.

Lily
Lily smiled and kissed him back before going and grabbing her clothes and going home. She did laundry and then went to work to help her dad. When she was working an off duty guard came in to get some stuff and saw Lily there. He went up to her and talked for a while with her. She was trying to tell him that it was fine and the prince knew but he did not believe her. He left to go tell the king. Lily told her dad she had to go and ran out and to the palace. She asked a guard to get Callias. She was too late though and the guard was in the kings office talking to him. The king was not happy. "So she has been lying to all of us. I'm sorry son but you can't be with her. She lied to all of us." He said. He was not happy.

Callias

"No... What? No...father.." What had happened? Was it because she was from a poor family?

"I am sorry son but she is from a poor family and a guard caught her working in her family's shop. I know she did not tell you or else you would have told me." He said and turned to a guard. "Lily is no longer welcome in the palace." He said. The guard nodded and went to where Lily was.

Lily
Lily was close to tears when she was told the prince did not want to see her anymore. She walked out and went home and went straight to her room. Her father took off work in order to be there for his daughter. She hugged her dad.

"Father, no.... The kingdom will not have a Queen if I can't be with her." He ran out of the office, and then out of the palace. He knocked on the door to Lily's house, nearly in tears.

Lily
Lily's father went and opened the door. "Hey Callias. Let me check with Lily to see if she is okay with you coming in. She doesn't like others to see her upset." He said to him. He went to Lily's room and she said it was fine. Her father walked back out to Callias. "She is in her room." He said. He started back to her room after letting Callias in. He opened her bedroom door. Lily was sitting on her bed. Her cheeks were red from her crying. She had a blanket wrapped around her. "Callias. I am so sorry. I was trying so hard to explain but the guard did not let me." She said another tear going down her cheek. "I messed up..." she said.

Callias

Callias sat on the bed beside her and pulled her into his lap. He wrapped his arms around her and buried his face in her hair. "I tried to convince him, but.... What can I say to convince you to run away with me?"

Lily
Lily stayed close to him and buried her face in his shirt. "N-no. You have to become king. You will be amazing at it. We have to think of another plan. You have to be king." She said to him. "We will figure something out." She said to him. She wanted him to get to be the king.

Lukas
Lukas looked up as his father knocked. He went to the door and spoke to him walking back and sitting down clearly still processing what he had been told.
