"I didn't think that you thought that anymore," he teased. "Innocent people don't douse you in water." He smiled at her.

[Berenice.]

Megan rolled her eyes. “Lets face it, it was a pretty innocent revenge. It was only water after all.”

"Fine, then. I'll have to do something else," he teased. He leaned back against the backrest of the couch, looking up at the ceiling. "I went to the senior center," he said quietly. "I don't really know why I didn't want you to know. I was getting my job back, since I figured that your mother shouldn't be paying Sky's vet bills. The senior's center had always been my mother's and I's place."

[Berenice.]

Megan nodded. “I wouldn’t judge you, you know. And you don’t have to pay for Sky. My mom has enough money. There’s no need for you to go and get a job.” She replied. “Ugh, that means I will be all by myself when you’re at work. I hope you feel bad.”

"You'd have Sky to keep you company," he said. He rested his head on her shoulder, closing his eyes.

[Berenice.]

“Sky isn’t quite the same. I’m going to have to invite other people over.” She grumbled, not really wanting to it she had got used to having company.

"Then come with me," he suggested. "Old people make great company. I don't think I would mind you being there," he said quietly.

[Berenice.]

“I’ve told you before. Some old people irritate me so I don’t think it would be a great place for me.” Megan wasn’t a huge fan of old people. In her eyes, most of them were grumpy anyway.

"Fine. Just no guys, alright? I don't want to have to beat them up," he said, only half-joking.

Megan laughed and thumped his shoulder. “Oh shush. You’re just jealous.” Meg shot back at him with a cheeky smirk.
