Storm got up and went to sit down on the couch Megan was on. He sat right next to her so their knees were touching, and he wrapped his arms around his legs, holding them to his chest. "Did I keep you up?" he asked quietly, hoping that he hadn't.

[Berenice.]

“No, don’t be silly. I’m not going to get back to sleep so I’m going to be so tired at school later.” She complained and looked back at her phone. “You can get back to sleep if you want to.”

"Can I stay with you?" he asked her, whispering but just loud enough for her to hear.

[Berenice.]

“Of course. Why not? You can do whatever you like.” She answered, not looking away from the texts she was reading on her phone. “Has your hair recovered?” Megan smirked, looking over at him.

Storm relaxed a bit, glad that she was letting him. "I don't know. It could be permanently damaged, thanks to you," he teased. He leaned back against the back rest and rested his head on her shoulder. He closed his eyes and didn't look at her phone, since that would be invading her privacy.

[Berenice.]

“It looked like an improvement to me. All of those girls would like you ten times more. In fact, I should’ve taken a picture and sent it them.” She laughed, messing his hair up again.

Storm shook his head a bit. "No way. If you did, I'd have taken a picture of you soaking wet after I sprayed you with the shower hose," he warned her. "And I definitely would have shown your friends it." He lightly wrapped his arms around her waist, and leaned against her a bit.

[Berenice.]

“They’ve seen me in worse states than that. You’re revenge wasn’t that bad.” Megan knew she was pushing her luck a little bit, but it was amusing her. “You’re too scared to talk to my friends anyway.”

"Well, I'll have to do something worse, then," he decided. He held her a bit tighter, and moved so that they were as close as they could get without being on her lap. He wanted to be close to her, since she made him feel safe. "I'd still show them the picture of you. It would be worth the trouble."

[Berenice.]

“They’d be too busy drooling over you the way they did earlier. I could tell you were loving it.” Megan smiled. “I’m sure your revenge will get worse somehow. Like I said, you’re too innocent.”
