"Mhmm," he said, disagreeing with her. "You know I only have room in my heart for one special girl, and that's Spencer. I don't even notice anyone else. I only have her in my sights," he joked, purposely sounding super cheesy and cringey.

[Berenice.]

“Oh Yeah. I totally forgot you adore Spencer. It fine. I won’t tell anyone about your little crush on her.” Megan grinned, sitting on the couch she slept on. “I really want a vacation. Somewhere with a nice sunny beach, a pool and a bar. That sounds great.”

Storm sat down on the couch beside her. "It does, but..." He didn't need to tell her that something like that wouldn't be happening. He knew that she already knew that. Storm ha managed to push back the pain and soreness when he was distracted, but now it was all he could focus on. He leaned back against the back rest, turning his head to the side so he could still look at her.

[Berenice.]

“I know we can’t go. You don’t have to say it. But listen, I need to leave this place for at least a few days. Maybe we could go somewhere for the weekend. I just need to get out of the house. I have no idea where we could go, though.”

Storm nodded. He slowly moved his head so gat his forehead rested lightly against Megan's shoulder. He closed his eyes, feeling tired.

[Berenice.]

“Are you tired already? You’ve not done anything all day. How can you be tired? You probably need more sleep. Shall we set you a bedtime?” Meg teased and flicked his forehead.

Storm murmured inaudibility in reply. He rested his head fully on her shoulder, and moved closer so that he was sitting right beside her.

[Berenice.]

“Well don’t fall asleep then. It’s still daylight. What do you want to do? Apart from sleep? You might as well go and see all of your girlfriends.” She laughed and shook her head.

He mumbled a reply and made himself more comfortable. He didn't look to be getting up anytime soon.

[Berenice.]

Megan stood up and grabbed his hands, pulling him up too. “Don’t be boring and go to sleep. Or I will secretly cut your hair while you’re sleeping. I’m sure you don’t want that.”
