He didn't say anything when she told him not to leave the school before he was supposed to. He hadn't wanted to be there, and he thought that he'd probably feel that way tomorrow. Even so, he knew that he shouldn't stay here by himself for the whole day. He'd have to go to school. Storm followed her upstairs, taking his own bag with him.

[Berenice.]

Megan stood at the top of the stairs and called down to him. “Are you coming? You’ve probably got the same school work as me.” She called, then walked into her room and sat on the floor as she started the work.

Storm sat down on the floor also and got his work out. It was confusing, and he kept asking her questions about it because he didn't understand.

[Berenice.]

Megan knew Storm didn’t understand the work and wasn’t going to let him get in trouble for not doing it. ”Pass it to me.” She said as she took the work from him and copied it from her pages into his. “If anyone asks, we did he work together. You don’t need to understand it. I don’t think learning about Trigonometry and areas of cylinders is that important. Can’t say I will ever need to do it in life.” She put the work away and put her bag in the corner of her room. “Anything you want to do for the rest of the day?”

He shrugged. He'd do whatever she wanted. "What do you normally do?" he asked her, speaking so she wouldn't get annoyed if he didn't talk.

[Berenice.]

“I’d invite people to come over but I’m guessing you would rather if I didn’t do that.” Megan laid flat on the floor and stared at the ceiling, pretty bored now that she had nothing to do. “I’ve never really had someone else in the house living with us so you can probably tell I don’t exactly know how to keep things entertaining all the time.”

Storm nodded when she said that she's guessing that he would rather not have people over. "Do you like animals?" he asked her, thinking about something he did sometimes.

[Berenice.]

“Uh, yes. Apart from birds. Birds are terrifying. So are small dogs. But other than that, yes I do like animals. Why the random question?” She sat up and looked over at him. “I really want a dog. I don’t think I’m responsible enough though.”

He smiled a bit at her. "Let's go pet some dogs, then," he said, standing up. He held out his hand to her to help her up.

Megan raised an eyebrow at him, then took his hand and got up. ”What are you talking about? We can’t just go and pet random dogs.” She told him, not quite sure what he was planning.
