michelle chuckled softly. "i guess we have our plan for today." she spoke happily. river laughed a bit at marcella's words. "borrow my sweatpants or something."

“naw, my sweatpants strech.” she shrugged, walking up the stairs and changing. she walked back downstairs and took a bite of her bagel. “thanks, love.” she told river.

river nodded, kissing her cheek and grabbing some cereal for himself, happily eating the food as he watched whatever michelle and kat had put on tv.

marcella turned to michelle. “are there pretty maternity jeans?” she asked quietly. “i want to still put effort into my clothes.”

michelle chuckled softly and nodded. "nowadays, of course there are." she assured marcella, kat sound asleep on the couch beside them.

“can we go shoping now? river can come if he wants but i dunno if shopping is his ‘thing’.” marcella asked. she smiled at river, leaning her head on his shoulder.

michelle nodded, getting up to grab her purse. river nodded his head, kissing the top of marcella's. "i'll come." he spoke, just glad to spend time with the girl.

”yay.” marcella smiled, giving him a hug. “we can even stop in the baby section if you want, love.” she told him.

river nodded his head, hugging her back. "whatever you want, princess." he spoke happily, turning his head as michelle re-appeared. "kat should stay home and rest. she's been losing her food all morning." she murmured, tugging a blanket over her daughter.

“yeah, i was gonna hold her hair back.” marci sighed, taking river’s hand and let go only when she was getting into the back of michelle’s car.
