"leon went home?" she asked her mom, turning to give marcella a thankful smile. michelle nodded as kat made her way to the kitchen. she grabbed some watermelon and eagerly began eating.

river sleepily reached out and gently tugged marcella to his chest. "morning beautiful." he greeted groggily.

”hey.” marcella smiled, placing a few gentle kisses on his lips. “you gotta think way back. estelle wouldn’t even be close to being alive if i hadn’t kissed you in elective. i mean, sure, when i was twelve, i might of had a sort of crush on you, something i realized just as you were leaving.”

river smiled as he was greeted with gentle kisses. his brows furrowed in confusion as she began speaking, but slowly chuckled and nodded. "took you long enough," he joked playfully.

“i know, i know.” marcella laughed. “but i’m wiped. kat just had her first case of morning sickness.” she sighed, leaning back. “i’d forgotten that leon visited her.”

river nodded in response, kissing her forehead. "what do you want for breakfast?" he questioned the female, rubbing his eyes awake and checking his phone before putting it back down.

“i’d love a bagel.” she smiled, kissing his forehead. “when do you have work?” marcella asked, hugging him close to her.

river nodded his head, running his fingers up and down her back. "not until three." he responded, pecking her lips and leaning down, kissing her stomach as well. "hey there, little cupcake." he murmured with a grin.

“good.” marcella murmured. she smiled as river kissed her belly and greeted estelle. “i want her in my arms already.” she murmured.

river nodded his head. "she will be soon." he spoke, pressing a kiss to her lips before climbing out of bed and heading downstairs, nodding to kat and michelle eating their breakfast. he grabbed a bagel, preparing it for his love.

“not soon enough.” marcella said, stretching before getting up and changing into a floral top. “michelle!” she called, running dow the stairs. “i need maternity jeans. these don’t fit!”
