river grinned as he felt the little kick, as if on cue. he grinned as marcella mentioned having a human living inside her. "i can't wait to meet her." he murmured, relaxing for a few moments. "what did you and mom get from the store? and did you decide what you wanna do for the nursery?"

“me too.” marcella replied. “we got some cute decorations and clothes. there’s plenty more to buy. we decided on a pastel purple with gray and white hues i believe.”

river nodded his head, thinking out the nursery before nodding again. "that'll be cute. we can have white furniture and gray blankets and cushions and stuff." he murmured, completely content and happy. "i talked to my boss and he said when the time comes, i can take off for a while."

“that sounds amazing.” marcella grinned. “and for our wedding, she’ll match the bridesmaids.” she looked at river, giving him a kiss. “y’know, i’m sorry i’m so needy right now.”

river nodded his head in agreement, returning the kiss gently. he smiled at her words, placing soft kisses all over her face. "that's what i'm here for, princess. to make sure you have everything you need." he assured her.

marcella teared up. “god, i love you.” she said, giving him a kiss. “you know, i wouldn’t have imagined you were such a family man way back when.” she smiled ar him, hugging him close to her, and then felt a kick. “gaahh! okay, okay, no touching according to estelle.”

river chuckled lowly, kissing the top of her head. "you bring it out in me, babygirl." he teased with a wink, laughing at her mention of estelle. "man, we're not gonna have alone time for a while after she's born," he joked, though he really didn't mind. he had a beautiful woman to call his, and soon enough, a beautiful daughter as well.

“we always have your mom.” marcella giggled, hugging him again. “i really need to meet this baby, and four months can’t go by slower.” she sighed, placing her hands on her belly.

river nodded in agreement, placing his hands on her belly. "i can't wait to meet her." he murmured gently, nuzzling into marcella's neck and sighing gently. "does kat know how far in she is?"

”no, she handed me the test, so probably not that far, she isn’t showing, but i was around the time i took my tests.” she sighed. “i misses three flows and around the time i would miss the fourth one i took my test, so i actually have only know for what, month and a half?” marcella smiled and kissing his cheek.
