river chuckled, his attention on the tv until she returned. his eyes closed as water splattered across his face, wiping it off and chuckling. "everything about you is hot, princess." he replied, sitting up. "kat fell asleep already?"

’i was thinking the diner?’ he sent back, biting his lip, looking over to his sister, katie, who sat across him.

“naw. she’s texting leon goodwin.” she said, smiling, sitting on his bed. “so she won’t mind if i sneak a visit.” she smirked.

kat grinned a bit at his response, tugging a blanket over her legs. 'diner sounds good! just lmk when (:' she sent.

river's protective brother instincts immediately kicked in. "who is leon goodwin?" he grumbled, arms crossing over his chest as he glared at nothing in particular.

”that ass katie’s brother. the school golden boy.” she shrugged. “i dunno. he seems okay though.” marci smiled, leaning against the pillow.

river gave a slow nod, letting the topic go for now. he reached out to marcella, tugging her closer to his body and pressing a gentle kiss to her shoulder before focusing on the show.

'green! but the dark greens, like pine and emerald. stuff like that lol. what about yours?' kat sent, looking up and laughing at the show that was on.

marci turned to face him, giving him a few gentle kisses. “plus kat doesn’t even notice im gone.” she laughed quietly.

‘i like navy blue, also crimson. what about your favorite movie?’ he sent back.

river grinned at her soft little kisses, loving the girl's attention. he chuckled softly, pressing his nose into her hair. "i guess i should be grateful for that," he mused.

'ooh, that's a tough one. hm. beauty and the beast is one of the high ups, i don't think i could choose a favorite! yours?' she texted.

“yeah.” she smiled, giving him a hug. “honestly, when i was twelve, i probably couldn’t imagine us being a thing.” she said, giving him another kiss.

river kissed the top of her head, listening to her words and chuckling softly, returning the kiss. "i had such a damn crush on you back then." he murmured with a grin, pecking her lips.

kat giggled at his response. 'im such a wuss with horror movies. i need my brother or bestie to watch them with me so i have someone to hide my face in and death grip when jumpscares come lol.'

“i realize that now.” she murmured, pulling the necklace with the plastic ring out of her shirt. “honestly i don’t wanna go home. my siblings drive me insane.”
