river nodded his head, humming slightly. "i'll take her later so she can pick out everything." he replied, glancing down to aurelia and smiling. "your sister is gonna love you so much."

*a year timeskip*
marcella got out of bed with a limp, hearing aurelia’s cries. she walked into the nursery, a smile on her face. “good morning, beautiful.” she sang as she propped the baby on her hip. “i’m going to make breakfast, stella.” she told estelle, who was awake from the crying. estelle nodded and started to play with the large bunny rabbit.

river opened his eyes as he heard the familiar cries, but marcella had beat him to it. he groaned as he stretched out, rising to his feet and moving into the nursery to greet estelle. "hey, cupcake." he greeted his daughter happily, kissing the top of her head.

kat was already downstairs, laughing at the twins who were in their playpen, babbling to each other as if they were having an actual conversation.

marcella placed aurelia in the playpen as well. “you know, they could have their own twin language.” she remarked, smiling at her friend. she then ran to the kitchen to stir up the batter for the pancakes, saving a small amount for everyone who wanted chocolate chip.

kat laughed and shrugged. "who knows, anymore." she mused, watching with a smile as the twins eagerly accepted the younger girl, all three babies now just chilling in the playpen. "man, what would we be doing if we didn't have our babies?" she questioned as river came downstairs with estelle and the large bunny.

marcella grinned. “no idea. traveling, going to parties, clubbing?” she asked jokingly. she kissed rivers cheek. “you brought down my bunny!” she joked, kissing the top of estelle’s head.

kat chuckled softly, shaking her head. "where's the fun in that?" she joked back. river chuckled, pecking marcella's lips and grinning as she spoke of 'her' bunny. "stella might fight you on that one."

“well i am a hundred pounds heavier than her, guess who would win?” she joked, scooping all of the pancakes on a plate. “how many do you want, stella?” she asked her young daughter. “two!” estelle answered, grinning. “thats a lot, you sure hon?” she asked, to which the girl nodded.

river narrowed his eyes playfully at marcella, chuckling as estelle asked for two pancakes. he grabbed a plate for himself, taking some pancakes and kissing marcella's cheek in thanks before moving towards the table.

marcella grinned as she ate. “yeah, so,” she started, “i found out i’m having another baby.” she finished, chewing on her pancakes, finishing them quickly, grabbing a bottle to feed aurelia.
