river nodded to marcella, getting everything ready to leave. michelle turned her head as a knock sounded on her door, humming softly. "come in." she called out to whoever was there, lowering the tv volume.

marcella walked into the room, smiling. “good morning!” she greeted. “river and i have a date, do you think you could watch stella?” marcella asked with a grin. “we haven’t had much time alone lately.”

michelle smiled warmly at the question, holding her arms out and beckoning for estelle to come. "of course i can." she spoke happily, changing the tv to a kid show so estelle would be more entertained.

“hi grammy!” estelle smiled, hugging michelle. marcella smiled and ran downstairs. “ready?” she asked, grabbing her purse.

river turned to marcella and nodded. "yeah, all ready." he confirmed, letting her out first before following. he opened the car door for his wife, sliding into the drivers seat afterwards and beginning to drive once they were in safely.

marcella rode silently, running as the car halted. she threw up her breakfast in a bush and sighed, taking a mint out as tears ran down her face. she hated this. she pushed the door and went inside and checked in.

river pursed his lips, following her in. "i don't see how this is considered normal. you're puking like every five minutes." he muttered, letting the woman check herself in as he glanced around.

marcella grumbled in response, sitting down to wait. she took river’s hand and looked at him. “this is hell.” she remarked, leaning her head against his shoulder.

river kissed the top of her head, gently squeezing her hand. "maybe they'll give you a different medicine." he murmured, tilting his head back and closing his eyes, just resting whilst they waited.

marcella stood up as they were called in. she squeezed river’s hand as she walked into the room, answering tge questions asked. they perscribed a different medicine, and she sighed. “thank you. i hadn’t been taking the other ones because they didn’t work.” she admitted, leaning back as the cool gel hit her flesh.
