river carefully took estelle into his arms, pulling the small child to his chest and staring down at her with the largest smile ever. "she's so beautiful." he whispered, his eyes once again watering slightly as he gently ran his thumb over the chubby little cheek.

marcella smiled as river marvled over the baby. “i know.” she murmured, her smile widening. “she’s finally here.” she said. “i should feed her eventually.”

river nodded slowly as marcella mentioned feeding her, placing a soft kiss onto her tiny little nose before leaning over and carefully passing her back to marcella, leaning into his chair with a grin. their baby was finally here, in their arms.

marcella fed the baby happily. “she’s as beautiful as i imagined.” she murmured as she burped the baby. the doctor walked back in, taking the baby back to the nursery.

river narrowed his eyes at the doctor's back as they took their precious baby again. but he knew it was for estelle's health, all in all. he sighed, glancing to marcella. "i can't wait to get her, and you, home."

marcella stood up, wobbling a tiny bit before looking through the bag and changing into some nicer clothes. she walked over to river, planting a kiss on his lips before wandering over to the table and picking up a peice of paper the doctor had left. “we can leave tomorrow!”

river watched marcella carefully, slowly standing up to make sure he could be there if she needed help. he smiled as she kissed his lips, slowly sitting down again and watching as she read a paper. "good." he muttered, excited to go home already. except this time, with a baby.

marcella handed him the paper and sat back on the bed. “now, what do do for the next day?” she wondered, clicking the television on. she sat, her legs crossed. “i wonder when kat and leon will get the food.”

river read over the paper, putting it down on the table once he was done. at marcella's words, he shrugged a bit. "you should probably stay off your feet. kat and leon are gonna be here, soon." he murmured, having received a text from kat that they got the food about ten minutes ago.

marcella pouted. “but the bed is confining!” she complained. “i’m going to eat, then sleep. i’m exhausted.” she murmured with a yawn.
