[Boomer]

Alessa felt more pressure from him, but she was still too scared to say anything. The girl stared at her paws as Scarlett was resting in the seat next to her. She sat there, knowing that she couldn't lie to him. Alessa was silent for several moments before flicking her tail nervously. "I... I have telekinesis." she whispered, tensing up a bit. She was afraid that Carter would stop the car and hurt her, or drop her off at the hospital because he didn't want to deal with her.

[carmen.]

"How?" He tried to portray himself as before he figured this out, but inside his head thousands of sceneries of when she would use her abilities against him taunted him.

[Boomer]

Alessa shook her head to his question. "I-I've always been t-told that I was born with it." she said quietly, "S-she said I got it from my 'n-no good father'..." Alessa picked up Scarlett and clung onto her. "I-I'm sorry, I won't use it i-if it bothers you." she winced, fearing that he would be exactly like her mother.

[carmen.]

No good father? He echoed in his head. What happened to him? He just held in all of his questions inside, not wanting to make her uncomfortable. "It's okay." He tapped his index finger on the wheel. "As long as you don't use it against others or destroy anything I'm fine with it."

[Boomer]

"Y-you didn't read the files yet, d-did you?" she asked quietly. The files detailed her multiple episodes; these episodes occurred when she was so stressed that she lost control over her telekinesis. Any objects that were smaller than her could be picked up and thrown around a room. The girl would have to be sedated with Valium to calm her down. Alessa never remembered the episodes themselves, but she could tell that one happened due to the state of the room. It had also been recorded that she almost killed two nurses during her episodes.

[carmen.]

"Oh uh- no not all of it." He admitted. Why did she sound so nervous? Carter feared that she would possibly destroy his whole house if she couldn't control her powers. "Why?"

[Boomer]

"T-the episodes..." she whispered, barely audible. Alessa could hear the uneasiness in Carter's voice; she feared that she really would be sent away. It was her biggest fear that they would find her mother and make her go back to her; she also was afraid of being sent to the psych ward because she was deemed "unstable". Alessa hated the Valium shots and didn't want that to be her daily life.

[carmen.]

"How long do they last?" At this point the radio seemed to be off. This was more important than listening to the same song he'd heard countless of times. "How bad to they get?"

[Boomer]

"U-until I'm sedated or run out of energy." said Alessa quietly, pinning her ears back. She held her breath as Carter asked her how bad the episodes would get. "I-I've a-almost... killed t-two nurses." she squeaked, shutting her eyes. Alessa didn't want to see his reaction.

[carmen.]

His expression was empty. The information provoked so many emotions from him he had no idea which one to portray. Carter feared for the worst but he didn't want to drop her back off. "I-Is there a way to prevent it or stop it from progressing?"
