Griffin shifted into human, sitting in a crouch. "Thanks. " She took the medicine and scrunched up her face. "Yuck.. At least it will help. " She shook her head, trying to get rid of the taste.

Alessa took some painkillers herself, not wanting the pain to get in the way of what she needed to do. "Are you ready to move on? Or do you need to rest some more?"

Griffin hid her pain. "We can get going.. " She responded slowly. She began walking cautiously. Her side began to hurt more, but she knew that if she shifted to cheetah, her injury would be worse.

"Alright," she said, following Griffin. She walked beside her, making sure that she didn't trip or anything.

Griffin walked slowly, trying to match her steps with Alessa's. She soon felt on of her knees buckle, so she softly fell. She stood up quickly. "Why do i even try.. Alessa just go without me. I'll catch up sooner or later." She sighed.

"No way. I'm staying with you," she told her. She gently took her arm and led her to a log to sit on.

Griffin sighed. "If you insist.." She mumbled, trying to distract herself from the deep pain.

Alessa sat down beside her and too Griffin's hand. She played with it, turning it over and tracing the lines. She wanted to help her with her pain, but didn't know how to.
