Griffin nodded. She sat on the stump, trying not to yell out in pain. She held onto her side, not wanting to move. She heard movement in the bushes and began to panic. Her panicking made her breathing way worse. It turned out to only be a deer running by. Griffin kept gaping for air, wishing that she wasnt flung into the tree.

Alessa

Alessa crouched down in front of Griffin, and put her hands on either side of her. "Breath slowly," she murmured. "You're okay. Just breath when I breath, okay?" She inhaled slowly, and then exhaled.

Griffin copied Alessa. She began to calm down. "T-thanks.. " She said, her slow breathing calming her pain and herself

"Okay, you just stay here, and I'll be back with the medicine," she said, standing up. She walked through the forest, making her way to the town.

Griffin nodded. She closed her eyes, controlling her breathing.

Alessa entered the town, keeping an eye out for the hunters. She walked into a pharmacy store, and looked at the shelves for the medicine Griffin needed. Once she found what she was looking for, she grabbed it and ran out of the store.

Griffin stood up and shifted into a cheetah. She limped over to a tree and climbed up. She laid on the branch and swung her tail around. She ignored the pain from her side and back.

Alessa ran down the street, ignoring the sharp pain of her wound. The workers of the pharmacy yelled after her, probably calling the police. She raced into the woods, going back to the place she had left Griffin at.

Griffin looked over and saw Alessa approaching. She leaped down from the tree, landing awkwardly. She yelped quietly and padded closer to her.

"Hey. I got the medicine," she told her, holding her hand out for her to see. "These are painkillers, and this one will help you breath easier."
