Cara shook her head. “I feel ill. My head hurts and so does my stomach.” She murmured before nibbling a piece of toast.

"Rest when you're finished eating, then," she said gently. "And drink lots of water." Alessa got up and filled up a glass of water. She put it on the nightstand beside Cara. She sat back down and ate some of the food.

Cara ate a bit more and drank some water before laying her head on Alessa’s lap. “I’m sorry I get sick so much...”

"It's not your fault," she said gently, stroking Cara's hair.

“But it must be hard for you. To take care of me.” She whispered softly.

"I don't mind doing it," she assured her. She tucked a strand of Cara's hair behind her ear. She bent her head down and kissed her forehead. "Try to get some rest," she said gently, stroking her hair.

Cara nodded slightly and closed her eyes. “I can’t sleep, my head hurts.” She whispered and groaned softly.

Alessa stroked Cara's hair. "Let the painkillers kick in," she said gently.

She groaned and rubbed her forehead. “When will they kick in??”

"Soon," she assured her. She continued to gently stroke Cara's hair.
