"I was on the train alone, no food or water. You came on with your memory wiped and saw that I was divergent and then bad things happened." She whispered and sighed.

Alessa rubbed Cara's back. "I promise I won't leave you every again. No one will be able to take me away from you."

"I hope so." She murmured and closed her eyes. "Don't leave me. Ever." She whimpered before falling back asleep

"I won't," she promised her, holding her tight. She closed her eyes and eventually fell back asleep.

Cara squirmed a bit but continued sleeping. She woke up the next morning and took a deep breath.

Alessa wasn't in bed anymore. She was in the kitchen making breakfast.

Cara groaned and grabbed her head. She sighed and stayed laying down.

Alessa came into the room with a platter of food. "I made breakfast," she said, sitting down beside Cara and placing that platter on the bed between them.

Cara shifted a bit and sat up. "Thanks babe." She murmured and rubbed her head again. "Do we have any painkillers?"

Alessa nodded. She gave her a few and wrapped her arm around her shoulders. She kissed her temple. "Feeling okay?" she asked gently.
