"How is it your fault, Cara," she asked her softly.

“I’m divergent so it’s my fault.” Cara answered quickly.

[EchoOfShatteredIce]

"Cara... being divergent isn't your fault, though," she said, sighing. "Look, I don't blame you, okay?"

“I hate myself for being divergent.” Cara mumbled softly. She squeezed Alessa’s hand.

"Special isn't a bad thing," she murmured to her. "The others just need to realize that."

[skyprincess]

“It is a bad thing when people hurt me and try to kill me because of it.” Cara said and crawled over to small opening and scrambled back.

Alessa wasn't sure what to say to that. "They're wrong," she whispered.

“They’re here.” She whispered back and squeezed into a corner. She heard a soft beeping and found a tracking device injected in her arm. “We have to cut it out.”

Alessa found a sharp piece of metal in the train car. She grabbed a hold of Cara's arm, and cut the tracking device out carefully. She ripped a piece of her shirt off and wrapped it around Cara's arm.

Cara stayed silent the whole time but fainted afterward. She fell limp and hit her head against the wall.
