Cara looked at Alessa "Hey, Alessa right?" She asked with a small smile. She took a sip of her juice and laughed at a joke she heard a Dauntless-born tell. Cara rubbed her forehead before turning to talk to Four. She talked with him for a bit before turning back to Alessa "Wanna join us Dauntless-born tonight?"

Alessa was a bit confused. She was acting...almost friendly now.. She was curious, though, what they were planning on doing. And why Cara wanted her to come. "What will you be doing? And why ask me?"

"Truth or dare, you were the first one to jump, other than me because I am well known here." She told her before some girls walk past and they all said hi to Cara.

Alessa didn't know what truth or dare was, but she wanted to be a part of this faction, right? Going with Cara would help her get used to this lifestyle. "Alright, I'm in," she said, hoping that she wouldn't regret this. Would the other Daunt-less born want her there? She didn't think so.

Cara nodded and smiled. She put her hair up into a messy bun and got up with her tray before putting it in the pile of all the other dirty trays. She then went back to Alessa and whispered in her ear "I have to show you something. Hurry up."

She followed Cara, unsure of where they were going. Should she really be following her? And why her? Weren't Daunt-less born supposed to be unfriendly towards transfers? And why Alessa in particular? She didn't think that it was just because she had jumped after her.

She brought her into the empty training room. "You are going to have to fight your peers. Punch my stomach." Cara told her with a smirk. If Alessa actually punched her, Cara would grab her wrist and flip her onto the ground. She watched her closely.

Alessa stared at her. "Was this a trick or a test? She didn't know. What she did know, however, was that Cara knew how to fight. Alessa had only studied hand-to-hand combat once, and it hadn't been for long. She'd end up on the ground in a heartbeat. " No thanks," she told her, wanting to leave and go back to the others.

"Fine, go back to your so-called friends and soon you'll be factionless. I can teach you, I bet you're a good little student if you came from erudite." She said with a small smirk before she took some knives and started throwing them at the board, hitting all the targets perfectly.

Alessa frowned at her, unsure why she was trying to help her. And was she? She was a bit confusing. Alessa walked up to Cara quietly, made her hand into a fist, and punched Cara in the stomach while she was distracted with the knives.
