Mary offered a small smile as she was greeted at the door. "I'm okay..." she murmured, "I have to get Maria and the girls later. The doctors said Eileen is doing well enough to go home." Mary then noticed Alessa and glanced to Jake. "She's still upset, isn't she?" she mumbled. She wasn't too shocked to hear if Alessa was still sore about everything that happened today.

"Okay. I can get them for you if you want. I can go get your pups and then go get her after I drop them off so you can rest." He said to Mary. He then glanced back towards Alessa's room. "Ya. She is still very angry. I should go get the pups. "Hey Alessa? Do you want to go pick up Mary's pups with me?" He asked her.

[Boomer]

"I can imagine why..." she murmured, "This is a big change for her." She then nodded a little as she moved to go upstairs. "I'll start on dinner later." she said, "I'll be fine after a short nap." Alessa watched Mary go upstairs, then stared at Jake. She knew as so long Mary was home, her rude tone of voice wouldn't be tolerated at all. "Sure..." she said, slightly clenching her teeth.

"If you are going to give an attitude you are not allowed to go." He said looking at her. "I am getting tired of it. You know Mary will not take it either." He said looking at her. He watched her to see what she would say. "You can't be rude to the other pups. It is not okay." He said.

Alessa simply stared him down for a few moments before flicking her tail. She wasn't angry with the pups at all; they weren't the ones that made her go on medication. She simply turned away and moved to go into her room. Alessa took a few deep breaths, then dragged her paws down her face. "You're lucky you don't have powers, Scarlett..." she muttered, huffing quietly. She then went back out into the dining room. "I'll go..." she said, her tone slightly less harsh and brimming with aggression.

"Okay sounds good." He said to her and started to walk out. He went to the daycare to get all of the other pups. He walked into their class making sure that Alessa stayed close to him. "Hey pups." He said with a small smile. "Ready to go?" He asked them. Your aunt will be able to come home tonight." He told them with a smile. He started out.

Alessa walked behind him as she carried Scarlett. She didn't speak as they got to the daycare and picked up the pups. Cybil led her brother and sister as she walked by Jake. "Oh really?" she asked, "That's cool. I guess Eileen is okay?" "I hope so..." murmured Cynthia, "It's so boring at the hospital!"

"Yes she is going to be okay." He said to her with a smile. Jake headed home and walked inside after holding the door open for the pups. He made sure they were all safe and then looked for his girlfriend. He wanted to tell her he would head out to get her sister and her pups.

The pups went inside, then went upstairs to their rooms. Alessa went into the living room and sat on the couch. She switched on the TV to watch some cartoons. Scarlett was laying in her lap as Alessa sighed quietly. She hoped if she didn't have to watch the pups, she'd go back out in the woods and practice again.

He saw she was still asleep and decided to let her be. He walked downstairs and went over to Alessa. "Can you please help watch the pups while I go get Maria? " he asked her hoping she would agree and not get mad again.
