Mary watched as Alessa climbed onto the bed and sat in front of them. "I'm okay." she said, "Scarlett and I were tired of drawing."

Jake nodded and listened to the pup. "I understand that. I am glad that you came to join us." He said with a smile.

[Boomer]

"I just wanted to spend some time alone." said Alessa quietly, curling up in between them. Mary gently pushed some of Alessa's hair out of her face. "It'd be nice for the three of us to have a day to spend together." she said, "Some personal time is important."

"That is fine. I understand that." He said to her. "That would be really nice. I think we should do that with all the pups. Spend a day alone with each one. I am sure that it would be amazing." He said to his wife. "What do you think? Would they like that?" He asked.

[Boomer]

"I'm sure they would." answered Mary, nodding some. She didn't want the pups to be frustrated with not getting enough time with their parents. Alessa nodded a little as she turned to Jake. "I'd like that too..." she said quietly.

"I think we should plan to do that. We could do it this week if you want since we both have time off work." He said to his wife. "What do you think about that idea?" He asked his wife. He smiled at his pup.

[Boomer]

"That sounds perfect." said Mary softly, nodding some. As much as she wanted to go to Hawaii to spend time alone with Jake, she'd enjoy spending time with him and the pups more.

"I am glad that you agree. Maybe when things settle down, we would be able to go on an actual trip but we will also have a day to just us. I think we need that. Since it was Alessa's idea, she can have her day first. Would you agree?" He asked.

[Boomer]

"Yes, we really do need a day just for us." said Mary quietly, nodding some. She had planned on doing that after the pups' days. Mary turned to Alessa as the pup had melted into the bed. "What would you like to do?" she asked. "I don't mind..." murmured Alessa.

"I will plan something special for you." He said to his wife. He then looked at Alessa. "Well, think about it a bit. We can do whatever you want. Whatever you have really dreamed on doing." He said to her. He wanted the pups happy.
