"We won't have to worry about debt. I know my parents will want to help." she said softly, "They helped put me through nursing school. You just have to dedicate a lot of time to it."
"Oh I would not want them to have to pay for it I could figure it out. The daycare pretty much runs itself now... I am just not sure with the pups if I would have the time. I want to be there for them." He said to her.
"You could always be a nurse." she said, lightly pawing at him. Mary chose to be a nurse as it meant she got to spend more time with her patients and could reassure them and their parents that they'd be okay. "Doctors are great, of course, but nurses make everything run smoothly." she added.
"That is true...Plus, it would be less schooling..." He said. "There are programs to get it done in two years as opposed to eight..." He said. "Plus, then we could work in the same hospital and meet up for lunch. That would be nice." He said to her.
"You might be lower than me, then." she said softly, "I'm an RN with a Bachelor's. That took about four years, I believe." Mary then nodded, as she had the pups right before she graduated.
"That is true...But I may not be because I would not have to do a lot of the General education classes... I did those when I got my bachelor's the first time..." He said to her. He kept her close. "we will see what happens. I don't even know if I am going to do it." He said.
"Of course, I know we don't have any plans set in stone." she said, nodding some, "It's nice to talk about the future." Mary certainly didn't like talking about her past.
"You're sweet and pay attention to them, so of course they like you." she said quietly, "It's hard to not like you." Mary slowly sat up as Alessa stepped into their room. She was a bit lonely and wanted to hang out with them.
Jake smiled at Mary. "Thank you. I am glad that you think so." He said to her. He looked up when Alessa walked in. He smiled at her and held a paw out. "Come over here my pup. How are you?" He asked her with a smile. He loved her so much.
