"I just hope they understand how much they mean to me..." she said quietly, "I don't want them to ever feel rejected." Mary sighed quietly as she shut her eyes. "Thank you for helping me through this." she added.

“They probably do. I highly doubt that it is ever a thought in their mind that you don’t love them more than anything.” Jake said. He held her close. “Try to rest.”

Mary nodded a little and tried to relax. "I love you..." she murmured, cuddling up close to Jake.

“I love you too. So much.” He said and kissed her cheek. He relaxed a little and picked up his book and read a bit.

Mary drifted to sleep after a while. She was able to get a few hours of good sleep before waking up. She woke up and clung tightly onto Jake.

Jake loooked at her when she clung to him. “Are you okay?” He asked. He was worried about her.

"I'm okay..." she murmured, nodding some, "I just wanted to make sure you were still here." Mary nuzzled him a little.

Jake smiled at her a little. “I’m right here. I wouldn’t leave you like that.” He said and kissed her forehead.

"I know, I trust you." she murmured. Mary sighed quietly as she relaxed a bit. "How was your book?" she asked.

“It is good. Still have a lot to read but it is interesting.” He said to her. He enjoyed reading to pass the time. He relaxed.
