"Annoy her until she finally agrees." she said, shrugging a little, "That's what I normally do to get my way."

Alessa was fairly confident in using her power when she was calm. She knew she eventually had to learn to stop herself during an episode. "Well..." she murmured, trailing off a bit.

"Sounds good. Let's go." He said with a smile. Mark finished cleaning and took her hand and headed upstairs.

Jake listened to her and waited for her to decide what she wanted to work on. He did not want her to feel pressure to have to work on something that she doesn't want to do. He did not want to stress her like last time.

[Boomer]

Maria took his paw and skipped upstairs. "Oh, we should grab some magazines first." she said, "I've been hoarding them ever since they dropped the wedding news on us."

"I..." she said, "All I really need to work on is... y-you know." Alessa looked away, not really wanting to think about the pain she endured.

[it.will.rain]

"Okay." Mark said and went with her. He kissed her forehead happily as they walked it was nice to get to spend time with her before work.

Jake nodded. "I know. I have been trying to figure out how to approach it. Maybe we start with only a little stress on you and try to up it as we go?" Jake said looking at her. He was not sure.

[Boomer]

Maria grabbed as many magazines as she could carry. "You got some?" she asked, "Or, well... you ought to get the door."

"T-that sounds fair..." she said quietly. Alessa nervously looked to her paws; she didn't want to hurt Jake on accident.

[it.will.rain]

"Yes I got it." Mark said grabbing some for her. He still opened the doors for her so she could get in. He walked to Mary's room and walked in since the door was open.

"Okay. So I am thinking that we can start by remembering something small. So just start thinking about a small stressful event in your life." He said to her. "Think about it in detail." He added.

[Boomer]

Maria nodded as she strolled into Mary's room. Mary stirred as she heard them, then narrowed her eyes. "Go away." she muttered.

"I suppose... getting stitches in my cheek wasn't all that pleasant." she murmured, "It's the least terrible thing she's done."

Mark looked over at Maria not sure what to say. He was going to just leave but he wanted to see what she wanted to do.

"Okay." Jake said. "Think about the pain involved in that memory. When you start to feel out of control, try to focus your energy to control your powers." He said to her and watched her.

[Boomer]

"C'mon Mare, at least look." pouted Maria, "I have to plan this out, you know." Mary rolled her eyes as she took one of the magazines. The pups woke up and looked through them, each commenting on what style they liked best. Mary hated every moment of it.

"I-is this a good idea?" she asked wearily, "I mean... it stung a bit. Mother had to drag me to Kaufmann's for stitches. I..." The girl was starting to remember the event. She had been crying and resisting as she was literally dragged to the house. Her mother held her down, keeping her wrists pinned to the table as Kaufmann stitched her cheek. She recalled kicking and screaming as she was given the numbing shot. Alessa's eyes began to glow and a few objects began to quiver.

"You will have to do it eventually." Mark said. He listened to the pups and watched them flip through magazines.

Jake watched her. "It is the only way to work on it." He said and watched her. "It will be fine." He said. He was so worried about her and how this would go. He watched her. "Just try to relax. You are safe. Try to calm down. I know it is hard, but you can do it." He said to her. He was trying to help.
