Maria came downstairs after a while with the pups bundled up in clean pajamas and soft blankets. She set them on the floor to play with them. Cynthia and Alessa had fallen asleep as Cybil and Vincent struggled to stay awake. They didn't sleep that well last night.

Mark got down on the floor with Maria and kissed her cheek and played with her and the baby pups. He really loved them. "How are you?" He asked Maria. He was whispering so he would not wake the pups.

[Boomer]

Maria kissed his cheek as she looked to Mark. "I'm okay..." she said quietly, "A bit nervous, of course." She laid down and played with Rebecca, making the pup reach and grab at a stuffed cat. Eileen and Jacqueline were playing with Mark.

"I understand that. It makes total sense. I am worried about her too." He wispered and played with the pups. He was enjoying them. He watched them and helped them sit up like they wanted to.

[Boomer]

"I don't want to stress out too much." mumbled Maria, "I know she'll be okay." Jacqueline sat up almost on her own, while Rebecca had to be held. Eileen wasn't quite strong enough to sit up for long, unlike Jacqueline. Rebecca looked up at her mother for a moment. Jacqueline looked around for a few moments before yawning. She allowed herself to lay down and roll over.

Mark played with the pups and nodded. "Ya. She will." He said and kissed her cheek. "I really hope that you can get a little time to rest. I know you will be exhausted trying to help your sister. Promise me that you will try to rest a bit." He said to her. He cared so much about her.

[Boomer]

"Alright, I'll try..." said Maria quietly. Eileen rolled onto her side, pawing at Jacqueline. Jacqueline kept rolling back and forth, not really noticing Eileen pawing at her. Rebecca slumped down as she got tired. "What do you want to do for lunch?" she asked, wanting to have some sort of plan ready when the pups woke up.

Mark smiled as he watched the pups glad that they seemed happy. He looked over at Maria. "That is up to you. I am okay with anything. I can cook if you want or we can order something." He said.

[Boomer]

"We should cook, we've been ordering out a lot." said Maria quietly. She then picked up Rebecca and carried her into the kitchen. She searched through the fridge and cabinets. "I think they'd like some chicken nuggets and fries." she told the pup. Rebecca just looked back at her mother.

"That is true." He said and picked up the other two pups and put them in their bassinets and then went into the kitchen just as she spoke to Rebecca. He walked up to her. "That sounds really good." He said to her. "I bet the pups would like that." He said.
