Maria walked with Mark into the kitchen. "Oh, you don't have to." she said softly, "I'd hate to trouble you." Maria stood with him as he made the bag of popcorn. "I like you too." she said, "You're so sweet and wonderful. I'm glad we met, even though the reason for meeting wasn't exactly the best time in my life."

"It is no trouble at all. I like your girls." He said. "I care about them and you." He said to her. He blushed a little when she spoke about him. "I am really glad that we met too." He said to her with a smile. "You are so caring and perfect. But I do think we should take things slow." He said to her. Mark got the popcorn out and put it in the bowl before heading back upstairs.

[Boomer]

Maria blushed as well, slightly moving her ears back some. She finally spoke as he mentioned wanting to move slowly. "I totally agree." she said, "I don't want to rush into anything. Let's just enjoy our time together." Maria walked with him and went into her room, stopping for a moment to tell Mary and Jake good night.

Jake told her goodnight. Mark smiled at her. "I am glad that you agree. I don't want to rush things ether. I tried that before and it really did not go well so I am all for taking it slow." He said to her and went back into her room sitting down. "I am glad that you like me though. It could get really awkward if you did not feel the same way." He said to her.

[Boomer]

Mary had already fallen asleep, but Maria didn't mind. She knew that her sister worked hard and deserved to rest. Maria went into her room and shut the door. "Yeah, the last time I rushed into something I ended up pregnant." said Maria, joking a little. She then sat on her bed and looked to him. "Well, if I didn't like you, I wouldn't have gone to lunch with your mom and sisters." she said, "I'm glad you like me."

"That is true. You really wouldn't have. I am glad though. My sisters really like you. They keep telling me they want us to date..." He said. Mark smiled and turned on the movie taking a bite of popcorn. "I really think that this will be good." He said to her. He was talking about the two of them and he hoped that she got that from what he had said.

[Boomer]

"Mare was acting the same way too." she said, lightly shaking her head. She lightly pressed against him as the movie started. "Yeah, the movie will be great." she grinned, clearly kidding, "Oh, and us too."

Mark smiled. "Well, at least it is not just my family that is going crazy over it." He said to her. He laughed when she said that the movie would be great. He wrapped an arm around her happily. He watched the movie as he watched the show. It was nice to be close to someone that he liked. He had not done this in a while.

"Mare's never acted that way before... it was really weird." mumbled Maria. She curled up next to him, enjoying the movie. She only had to get up a total of two times; once to feed Eileen and the other to change Rebecca.

Mark looked at her and nodded. "It is the same with my sisters. They have never done that either. It is really odd." He said to her. Mark stayed close to her during the movie but let her get up when she had to. He did not mind at all. When the movie was over, he smiled at her. "We should try to get some sleep." He said looking at her.
