Maria gave him the Coke, then waited for the popcorn to finish. "I'm glad you liked it, it's one of my favorites." she said, "You can pick the next movie." As the microwave went off, Maria poured the popcorn into one large bowl. Alessa heard and smelled the popcorn, which made her wander into the kitchen. "May I have some?" she asked, pointing to the popcorn. "Why not?" mused Maria, filling up a little bowl with popcorn. "Thank you." said Alessa, taking the bowl from Maria. She went back into the living room.

Mark smiled at her. "Sounds good. We will watch my favorite next." He said. He watched as Alessa walked into the kitchen and asked for popcorn. He was glad the little girl seemed happy. He looked at Maria. "Ready to head back upstairs?" He asked. His favorite movie was very scary but he did not mind. He really enjoyed it. He walked upstairs and started it before sitting down close to her so they could share the popcorn easily.

Maria nodded as she grabbed some candy bars and the bowl before going upstairs. She got everything situated before sitting down. Maria shut off the lights as the movie started. She took a bite of a Milky Way before eating some popcorn. "Chocolate and salt are the best combo..." she murmured, "Chips, popcorn, it doesn't matter."

"I have to agree with you on that one. It really is perfect." Mark said. He ate with her as he watched the movie. It was really good and he was enjoying it all. He watched the movie and when he was full, he went back to leaning back on his hands.

Maria hummed in agreement as she continued eating. After a while, she moved close to Mark, letting her paw lightly touch his paw. She was content with the movie and the fact that the girls were asleep. Once the movie ended, she yawned and looked towards her clock. "Hmm, I think there's time for one more movie." she said, "What are you in the mood for?"

Mark smiled when she touched his paw. He flipped his over and held her hand. He watched the movie and then looked at her. "Ya. That sounds amazing." He said. "I would love to watch another movie with you." He said to her. "You can pick this time." He said. He looked at the girls, glad that they were sleeping. He looked at the screen and handed her the remote to pick the movie. He kept holding her paw.

"Do you wanna crash here for tonight?" asked Maria, "If you'd rather get some good sleep, I can show you to the guest room. I can't promise anything with the girls." Maria scanned the movie choices and picked another horror movie. "Wait, before we start, do you want any more popcorn?" she asked.

"I can crash with you if you want me to. I am fine with the girls. I like them so I don't mind if they wake me." He said to her. "I don't want any more but if you do, I can go get you some." He offered. He wanted her to be happy. He looked at their paws and smiled. before he looked back up at her.

"You wanna go get it together?" she asked. Maria enjoyed being in the company of other people. "Sure, I don't mind if you stay in here." she added, standing up, "I hope you don't mind if I have to get up a bunch to feed or change them. Fingers crossed that they won't need a bath at 3 AM."

Mark smiled. "That is fine. We can go together." He said and walked downstairs with her. "I am totally okay with it. I can even get up to change them a few times so you do not have to." He said to her. He liked helping her with the kids. He let go of her paw to get her popcorn and he popped it for her. "I really like you." He said looking at her. He watched her to see what her reaction would be.
