Ivy looked up at the sun, finally peeking through the reaches of the clouds as she opened the front door. It pulled in resistance at first-- Ivy lived in an old house. Most of the wooden stairs creaked with age, as did the oak door to her home. She placed her left foot on the welcome mat, which was worn from age. Water seeped through the edges of the carpeted rug. Ivy sighed. One more thing to replace later in the month. Ivy shut the door. She locked it afterwards and stepped from under the cover of the porch and into the rain. She morphed slowly into her cape fox form. It was her fastest in the rain-- as a flying animal, the rain beat at her wings with such force that she was pulled right into the buffeting winds.
Ivy began to prance towards the beach. It wasn't far. She thought about taking a swim in the chilly waters.
That may be nice, she said.
But I have errands to run. Ivy turned direction and headed towards the store. She needed to buy peanut butter and jelly for a sandwich later that day.

Oliver was in gazelle form. He pranced along the fields. The rain wasn't so bad here. It was merely a light drizzle, splashing against the soft dirt and dampening it more. His horns were dripping with water, as well as the rest of him. He had been out a while-- thinking of random things. He noticed a large hill. Morphing to his gorgeous bird of paradise form, he fluttered up, the tips of his talons brushing the grass, which was wet with both rain and dew. He opened his beak and let out a soft
Squawwwk. Oliver hovered over the top of the hill. Suddenly, he began barreling down to the end. Which, as if to make matters worse, happened to be a cliff dropping over empty space. At the bottom, water. He could morph into a seal, but he wasn't used to hitting the water from so high up. He might not make it. Oliver flapped his wings. "Why am I falling?" He thought aloud. The wind had been pushing him. But once he was close to the water, he would be protected from it by the cliff... Oliver tried to slow his fall into a glide.
