Water dripped off of the roofs. The alley was empty, and Cert was no where to be found.

[Better Dig Two]

Turtlepelt let out a whimper, shaking off her pelt for a moment from the water dripping down. She lowered her tail in worry, heading out of the alley. "Cert!" she called.

There weren't many Two-legs walking along the path, but there were more loud-cages racing along the black-path. The Two-legs who were walking around were rushing, and one nearly tripped on Turtlepelt.

[Better Dig Two]

Turtlepelt jumped out of the way of the two-legs that nearly tripped over her. She frowned, not knowing what to do next. Should she try to head back towards the clan and the hills? Or try to find Cert here? Maybe he did leave back to the barn, maybe he was taken.

Cert bounded over to her, carrying a pigeon. His eyes lit up when he saw her. His pelt was damp from the rain.

[Better Dig Two]

Turtlepelt's heart skipped as she saw him. "Cert." she said happily. She relaxed as she saw him, glad that he didn't leave her. She walked back to the box to get out of the rain. "I thought you left."

"Nope!" he said, his voice muffled from the feathers. "I would never leave you." He padded after her and went inside the box. "I brought food," he mewed, his voice muffled. He dropped the pigeon and lapped at his fur. "Yikes! It's wet out there," he commented, drying his fur with his tongue.

"I know, but I thought maybe something happened to you." Turtlepelt said, nuzzling his cheek. "Thanks for the food." she murmured to him gently.

"You can't get rid of me that easily," he answered. He purred a bit, and pressed his cheek against hers. "Anything for you," he whispered.

[Better Dig Two]

Turtlepelt grinned brightly at him, purring gently. She nuzzled his cheek again and then began to eat at the bird, leaving enough for him.
