Her heart skipped a beat and she froze, she tried to utter something out of her mouth but was unable to. She slowly shrank behind Alya with a small awkward laugh. "Help me Alyaaa," she whispered with a squeak in her tone.

“One of these days your gonna have to say something.” Alya chuckled. “It’s a beautiful day. How about we all go to the zoo after school? Maybe even grab an ice cream?” She suggested. Marinette needed major help if she ever wanted to get over her fears of making a fool of herself in front of him.

“Yeah! That’s a great idea, Alya!” Adrien said, smiling and chuckling at how cute Marinette could be around him. She was one funny girl. Plus it would give Adrien more time away from his house,his father and his bodyguard. This day was starting to go pretty well.

Tikki heard Marinette and smiled. When would Marinette learn to talk to a boy without help from her friends?

Chloe frowned. Really? Adrien would rather hang out with a loser like Marinette? she thought.

Tikki facepalmed, listening to the two girls. Maybe she could help Marinette. But not now. She couldn’t risk being seen.

Chloe looked away, annoyed Marinette was even near Adrien.

Adrien put a hand on Marinette’s shoulder. “Hey I know what it’s like to be a bit shy. The day we met I knew we would be great friends. I’ll admit, I was shy opening up to you Marinette. Telling you about how I never had friends or had even gone to school before. Thanks for being my first friend.” He said.

Tikki smiled. At least Marinette was able to say a few words. That’s a good start.
