"Maybe she knows about you going here, and she wants to make sure the other kids don't ruin it?" she mused. The pup finally sat down, shivering at the cool dew. "Either way, we should be getting back soon." said Alessa, "I want to try that pizza while it's still warm."

"I dont know.... that doesnt really sound like something she would do." Alex sighed, only worrying more. He noticed Alessa start to shiver from the chill, and heard her ask to go inside.
"Yeah, we should. pizza is best warm." He imagined the last time he had some. He stood up, and stuck out his hand for Alessa to take it again.

[Boomer]

Alessa took his paw and stood up with ease. "She doesn't seem so bad." said Alessa softly, walking with him. The girl could smell the pizza from the open kitchen window. "Why can't we have pizza every day?" she frowned, looking to Alex pitifully.

"Doesnt it smell great?" He exclaimed, and brought her in.
"Hello you two, i made sure to save enough pizza for you both!" Mrs. Potter brought out 2 plates, each with 2 pieces of pepperoni and cheese pizza. Alex was very thankful for this day.
"Thanks! can we eat it upstairs?" Alex asked, he really wanted to get that movie started. This day would be alot of firsts for Alessa. With the pop, the pizza, the popcorn, and the movie, it would all be a very foreign experience for her. he really hoped it would lighten her up about staying here, and being completely new.

Alessa was a little overwhelmed as she was given her plate and Alex asking if they could eat upstairs. But she wasn't stressed, it was a good sort of overwhelming. Mrs. Potter nodded, trusting that they would clean up after themselves. "I thought stuffed crust would be a good first pizza to try." she said softly, "When you two are done with lunch, I'll get you some popcorn and candy." Alessa was just so happy she could barely contain herself.

Alex nodded, thanked Mrs.Potter again, and they went back upstairs.
"So... wanna try it?" He asked, sitting down on the floor. He was excited to see her reaction, and he knew it would probably be amazing. what kid doesnt like pizza?

Alessa went upstairs and sat on the floor with her plate and Scarlett. She crossed her legs, then glanced to Alex. "Oh, um... c-could you eat first?" she asked quietly, "I-it's just a habit for me to start eating after everyone else does." The smell was tempting and Alessa knew that Alex wouldn't hit her, but it was just hardwired into her brain to wait.

Alex was kinda weirded out by the request, but he agreed anyways. "uh, sure, thats fine." He nodded, and took a bite from his pizza. it was delicious.
"okay, NOW you need to try this!" He laughed, and eagerly waited for his friend to try something he enjoyed so much.

Alessa picked up the cheese piece, trying to copy Alex by how he held his piece. She took a small bite, then looked to him with wide eyes. "This is one of the best things I've ever eaten." she whispered. Alessa wanted to scarf it down, as it was natural for her, but the girl took her time to enjoy the flavors.

Alex was happy she enjoyed it, and enjoyed seeing the smile on her face.
"Isnt it amazing!" He laughed, eating more of his piece. "You should open your pop next, its really good too." Alex suggested, picking his own up, opening it with a small crack of the can, and taking a sip. "Its very fizzy, and extremely sweet."
