Alessa followed after Alex after he told her what pizza was. "It sounds good." she said softly, sitting next to him. She then looked over to his page. "Well, the square should be the border." she said, "And the star can be in the center. Actually... make lots of stars at the top. The circle can be the sun, the triangle the top of a tree and the rectangle can be the trunk."

"Man... youre so good at this!" Alex exclaimed.
"i didnt even know what to make of the star. i can barely even draw one!" He laughed, remembering his last attempt. it looked like an oval with points.
"Who taught you how to draw?" Alex was suddenly curious.

[Boomer]

"I'll show you." said Alessa, taking the pencil. She scribbled down five steps to draw a star. "You try." she smiled, giving him the pencil back. Alessa then grabbed her last assignment and started working on it. "I taught myself..." she said softly, "I'd just look at things and try to copy what I saw."

Alex grabbed the pencil, and looked at the steps. they seemed.... extremely simple. so simple a pup could do it. He followed them, and drew down 5 lines.
"There! i think i did it!" Alex showed Alessa his paper, and on it were 5 misshapen lines, somewhat resembling a star
"I might need some practice..."

[Boomer]

Alessa looked over to his paper, then smiled more. "It's a good start." she praised, "Keep practicing... you'll get it." She turned back to her work, then wagged her tail as she finished her last assignment. "Finally!" she grinned, standing up, "You all done? We should turn it in, then we can have pizza."

Alex scribbled down the last of his shapes, and added a bit of colour.
"Yes! im finished. lets go downstairs, maybe we'll still get that candy for our movie!" He smiled, got up, and headed downstairs.
"Mrs.Potter, me and Alessa are finished our work." He went up to her, and handed her the sheets of paper.
while talking to her, he made a quick glance out the window. It had finally cleared up, just enough to have some sun poking through.
he hoped maybe theyd see a rainbow today. Had Alessa ever seen one? He should ask when he gets the chance to.

[Boomer]

Alessa followed Alex downstairs and turned in her work to Mrs. Potter. Mrs. Potter took the papers and graded them. "Excellent job you two." she praised, "After lunch, I'll be sure to get you some candy." Alessa took a hold of Alex's paw. "Lunch should be soon, right?" she asked. Mrs. Potter nodded. "Yes, it'll be here soon." she answered.

"We should start the movie when we have the pizza, for now, so you wanna go outside for a bit?" Alex asked Alessa, still holding her hand.
"It looks amazing out. it just stopped raining. maybe theyll be a rainbow. have you seen one before?"

[Boomer]

"Sounds like a good idea." said Alessa softly, liking both of his ideas. She then looked to Scarlett for a moment. "I think so." she finally answered, "Right Scarlett? We've seen rainbows before?" Alessa "listened" to the toy, then nodded. "We have." she stated.

"Thats good! i love hunting for them." Alex explained, and went back up to Mrs. Potter.
"Can we go outside for a bit, just until the pizza gets here?" He asked.
Mrs. Potter nodded, and alex lit up.
"Thanks! come on alessa!" He took her hand, and dragged her outside.
It was great, it was not to warm, not to cold. Everything was wet and dewy, and it smelt like fresh grass and rain. The sun peaked through the cracks in the clouds making everything glisten in the sunlight.
