Alessa felt a little better with his reassurance. "Thanks..." she said quietly, "I just have to keep reminding myself that I'll catch up at my own pace. I can't force it." She looked to her other two assignments. "I don't think I need help with these." she said, "I've always been good at reading and writing." Alessa got to work on the writing exercise; she had to write six complete sentences about her favorite season and describe her favorite things about the season using the five senses.

Alex smiled, and went back to his own work. He finished his science, and went on to art.
"ah... im not good at art." Alex sighed, and looked at what he was suppose to do.
"were just practicing the elements of design... why cant we do something better than this?" Alex seemed grumpy. he didnt really like art assignments. they all were tedious and boring, hed much prefer just to draw something by himself.

Alessa finished her writing assignment just as Alex got to his art assignment. She looked over at his paper, then tilted her head. "Seems confusing..." she murmured, "What exactly are you supposed to draw?" She felt if she understood what he had to draw that she could help him out.

"im not sure. at all." Alex scratched the back of his head, and looked down at the paper.
"We should ask Mrs. Potter. i am extremely confused on this." He offered, and stood up from the ground they were on.
"are you coming?" He asked, and stuck out his hand for her to have support getting up.

Alessa nodded as she took his paw and stood up. "Hopefully she can help us." said Alessa softly, walking with him. She felt good about finishing the rest of her work. She was lost in thought until they reached Mrs. Potter.

"Hey, Mrs. Potter?" Alex and Alessa went up to her. She was sitting at the table, working on something on a laptop.
"Yes?" She didnt look away from it.
"Me and Alessa are having some trouble with the art, whatare we suppose to do?"

Mrs. Potter took the paper from Alex, then looked it over. "Hmm, just draw what you think would be a good design for a business." she said, "Use the shapes they gave you at the top." There was a circle, star, square, triangle, and rectangle. "Oh..." said Alessa slowly, nodding some, "That makes more sense." "How are you coming along with your work?" asked Mrs. Potter, glancing to Alessa. "I'm almost done." answered Alessa, giving a smile, "Alex has been helpful."

Alex seemed proud for helping his friend.
"Yeah, im almost finished aswell!" He smiled, thinking back to the questions he had. He was lucky things like this came easy to him.
"whats for lunch today?" He asked, suddenly curious.

[Boomer]

"Grilled cheese and tomato soup." she answered, standing up to stretch. She looked to her watch. "Or... we could have pizza." she offered, smiling some. It wasn't often that the kids got pizza or any food from outside of the house. "What's pizza?" asked Alessa, looking from Mrs. Potter to Alex. "Pizza it is." said Mrs. Potter, sitting back down.

"youve never had pizza before?!" Alex was shocked. he hasnt met a single kid who didnt love the stuff. it was like... addicting.
"Pizza is... bread, tomato sauce, cheese, and pepperoni. its amazing. youll love it." He told her, hoping she would agree later when she tried it.
"Thanks Mrs. Potter!"
He went back up stairs with Alessa, and they both sat back down on the floor. Alex made sure to get some pencils before they started.
"Okay.... any ideas for this art project?" He glared at the paper, sighing. He had none.
